Kaz Hirai steps down from SCE, Andrew House the new Playstation boss:

Sony Computer Entertainment chairman Kaz Hirai has stepped down to concentrate on his role as the Sony group CEO where he'll try and sort out their struggling TV division.

Clearly he leaves SCE in relativelly rude health, but at a really interesting time given, as we all know/expect, the next gaming generation is in the process of being formed behind the scenes as we speak.

Andrew House is now the man in charge of 'Playstation,' a move that has been on the cards since last year, but I wouldn't envy him right now, there'll be a lot of pressure on his shoulders to make sure Sony doesn't lose as much ground as it did at the start of the current generation. I am however hopeful that SCEE stops getting such a raw deal in terms of releases and promotions now we have a Brit in charge!

Because London Studio is where all the good stuff is at, such as PlayStation Home, SingStar and Wonderbook!

...Oh God, they're going to waste all their money on Wonderbook.

Easy way to fix the tv division:- stop making them the exact same spec as Samsung models but then selling them for £500+ more than Samsungs most expensive set because of the Sony badge on them.

Hopefully they will have some sense and resurrect the getaway.
