Have Vodafone suddenly disabled access to Call Divert activation?

I accidentally deactivated all diverts and tried to turn them back on again using the phone menus, but I always get “Request not completed”.

I’ve also tried using *21# and *61#, but I get an unknown command error.

##21# and ##61# to deactivate works perfectly fine.
Not much use to me, though.

check the "Voice Mailbox Number" in Messages >> Voice Messages (same for most Nokia's) and check that it's set to 121

the menus should then be able to activate it again

Still doesn't work.

Shouldn't the number be kept as +44385016005?

It seems, from calling the Helpline, Vodafone are having problems with their voicemail services, which is also affecting diverts.

It seems the problem is also affecting Vodafone Mail (242), as well as standard voicemail (121) - I can't get to my options.

you used to be able to set diverts and stuff via the My Vodafone section of their really slow website, but I just checked and they appear to have removed the option (from my account at least). It was really useful at times as well

can't say that i've had any problems. If you just dial 1211 on your phone this should switch your voicemail on and 1210 lets you switch your voicemail off, if your useing a pay as you talk phone make sure it's in credit

Just to report that the 242 vodafone mail service is working again properly for me. I would assume that the 121 service would be too but can't find my really old PAYG sim to check it.
