They are not massive no, but the numbers seem to be at a good level currently, and a recommission this early by the network is a great sign.
You mentioned The Walking Dead there. The ratings for Season 1 of that were not too dissimilar to the current ratings for Dallas. And even in Season 2 it didn't reach 10m which must be very rare on cable. See here. ![]() Dallas is a good reboot, but I am surprised by the early renewal. I would have expected to see a renewal when the ratings started to level off. Also some people in this thread predicted that channel 5's premiere will see higher ratings then TNT's premiere...I have no doubt it will do well for channel 5, but over 6 million??? No chance, but I wouldn't mind to be proven wrong __________________________________________ Also, Rizzoli and Isles was renewed for a 4th season, Deadline reports that Falling Skies will get a renewal shortly, but Franklin and Bash is still undecided. __________________________________________ Charlie Sheen's new show posted MASSIVE ratings for FX. No 1 comedy show in the History of Cable ![]() http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/201...mieres/140095/ |

I haven't seen anybody predict 6m+ ratings for Dallas in here. That would make it C5's top rated show ever which patently isn't going to happen.

well be careful, I wouldn't date someone who has been in jail for violent behaviour, no matter how hot she is.
yeah I knew about that one, not a massive fan of red button TBH, Ill watch but other than the one about Ruth in the mental hospital, few impress me. Yeah that one was a little pointless and as a rule im not fussed by these 'special's EastEnders done a brilliant one with phil and the Amira one was good but the rest rubbish, |

not sure about the EE one coming up, seems like its going to be "star studded" something you can never accuse EE of being, its not one for celeb cameos, and long may that continue.

I will definitely series link Dallas on 5HD, I know it won't be same the show I watched religiously in the 1980's (and actually dashed in from playing football for!!) - but it ought be a good watch all the same.
I hope the 1st episode is well scheduled and gets a decent 2.5m+ rating. |

When does CSI due to finish, I could see Person of Interest taking the 9pm Tuesday slot, Dallas I think will go to Wednesdays replacing NCIS or Fridays at 9pm.
Moving CSI Miami to Saturday should boost the share and also frees Tuesdays for new shows. |

CSI has 7 episodes left so, it should end on Tuesday 14th August.
1 day after my birthday, if anyone is taking note. |

Then again, it was a compilation episode which many people didn't like. Anyone have the ratings for every episode of the series?
First Thursday showing - overnight viewers and (% share), [-> consolidated viewers up to w/e 17 June], {iPlayer requests, up to late May} Ep 1, 12/04/12, 2100: 850k (3.7%) [-> 947k] {783k} Ep 2, 19/04/12, 2100: 712k (3.1%) [-> 857k] {790k} Ep 3, 26/04/12, 2100: 603k [-> 783k] {607k} Ep 4, 03/05/12, 2100: Not reported [-> 1.024m] {810k} Ep 5, 10/05/12, 2100: 745k (3.0%) [-> 925k] {876k} Ep 6, 17/05/12, 2100: 920k (4.1%) [-> 1.070m] {837k} Ep 7, 24/05/12, 2200: 991k (5.5%) [-> 1.044m] {698k} Ep 8, 31/05/12, 2100: 793k (3.7%) [-> 936k] Ep 9, 07/06/12, 2100: 965k (4.3%) [-> 1.073m] << compilation Ep 10, 14/06/12, 2100: Not reported, <646k [-> <852k] << compilation, against Euro group game (Spain/Ireland) Ep 11, 21/06/12, 2100: 501k (2.0%) << compilation, against Euro quarter-final (Czech R/Portugal) Ep 12, 28/06/12, 2100: 284k (1.2%) << compilation, against Euro semi-final (Germany/Italy) & Nadal exit at Wimbledon It would be interesting to see the BBC's Live Plus 7 stats for these. The show has up to eight repeat showings during the week, can consolidate well, and is popular on the iPlayer as shown above. Even adjusting (as they do) for partial playback and multiple viewings on the iPlayer, the show could be looking at a series average of close to 2m using the Live Plus 7 methodology. |

About 1.1m-1.2m I think. It did tend to grow from there.

It did seem an odd choice this Spencer bloke, I'd never heard of him unlike Henson.

Are those Ch5 including +1, that's a poor start for the Bachelor, maybe it was over 1m? Or if that was including +1, ouch a bit. I expected around 1.4m.

The heavily promoted Batechlor couldnt even muster 1 million n the back of a very demo friendly Big Brothe eviction.
Then again it is absolute rubbish. I was hosting a party last night so only saw about 15 minutes worth and it was dire. Eviction numbers look low aswell. |

Very good numbers for the Federer match. Given what happened the night before, you can see why they moved it to BBC One even if it was only for half an hour.

Terrible for The Bachelor considering the massive publicity. BB seems low but is that an expected ch5 figure now?
