Attentional's website blog still has not updated with ratings, meaning they are almost certainly delayed, or too low for anyone to care about.

Which probably doesn't include HD, so very good.

There seems plenty of scope for a second series.

As for New Tricks, I think they should save that for Sunday nights from September.

Downton Abbey will begin its third series in mid-September (and on a Sunday) I'd assume, given that it launched 18 September last year.

Would it be wise for the BBC to put New Tricks up against it?

No it should stay on Monday night like last year, unlike last year it doesn't have Doc Martin to get in its way in the Autumn.

A great rating - but I did hope it would win the slot, for my own amusement

Big congrats to BBC Two - a great run of ratings with that drama.

lol yes whilst I cant stop any of you discussing spoilers related to the show, just let me know if you do, so I can skip the post.

You can spoil "Superstar" for me, if you like, I have not been saving that.

BBC2 cop drama #LineofDuty bows out on winning 3.3m at 9pm. BBC1 factual offering 2nd with 3.1m. ITV's Superstar remains stubbornly below 3m

That must include BBC HD

Somehow doubt anyone has been saving that.

Line of Duty is well worth watching

I forgot to put a winky at the end of my post. I was well aware of Downton - it would be interesting to see what ITV did if BBC1 got its big drama series in the slot first.

And the impact on this thread - "RadioTimes-gate" this week would be a mere stirring...

So, the top 10 most viewed shows so far this year:

1. Euro 2012: England vs Italy - 20.34m (65.32%)

2. Diamond Jubilee Concert - 15.32m (54.60%)

3. Euro 2012: England vs Sweden - 14.25m (51.79%)

4. Euro 2012: England vs Ukraine - 12.98m (45.60%

5. Euro 2012: England vs Italy (post-match) - 12.68m (51.87%)

6. Euro 2012: Spain vs Italy - 12.41m (44.75%)

7. Euro 2012: England vs Sweden (post-match) - 12.21m (45.85%)

8. The Voice (14/4/2012) - 11.99m (47.02%)

9. Wimbledon 2012 - 11.51m (57.44%)

10. Coronation Street (23/1/2012) - 11.42m (42.98%)

So amazingly even though the Britain's Got Talent final was the most viewed show of the year at the time, it's not even up there. Anyone able to find the peaks + shares for the above?

I would say EE looks low, but Emmerdale is not better, and EE has the better share, some of this "ratings crisis" is partly to do with the weather, and hitting all the soaps. CSI did well (and out rated C4) however, even if all critical acclaim for Tuesday has been on Line of Duty.

Looks like Superstar will avoid dipping below 2 million, which I guess is some small crumb of comfort for ITV.

That did make me look twice, then I realised that adding the . between the 2 and 5 would make the link not work...

I also fall for that sometimes, then again 25 million is impossible for that show.

2. Diamond Jubilee Concert - 15.32m (54.60%) 16.86m (65.4%)
3. Euro 2012: England vs Sweden - 14.25m (51.79%) 16.3m
4. Euro 2012: England vs Ukraine - 12.98m (45.60%) 18.5m (65%)
6. Euro 2012: Spain vs Italy - 12.41m (44.75%) 14.5m
8. The Voice (14/4/2012) - 11.99m (47.02%) 12m (45.7%)
9. Wimbledon 2012 - 11.51m (57.44%) 16.9m (67.9%)
10. Coronation Street (23/1/2012) - 11.42m (42.98%) (peak/share would hardly change)

So amazingly even though the Britain's Got Talent final was the most viewed show of the year at the time, it's not even up there. Anyone able to find the peaks + shares for the above?
Overnight peaks are shown in bold, it would be impossible to have a +7 day peak or share. Euro 2012 post match data, I could not find.
