So that Matt Baker can ruin the coverage like he did for the Jubilee event.

You mean it wasn't a massive episode involving an explosive storyline that is the best ever?

Surely Kat is due to leave again soon and then return a few weeks later, both occuring in massive unmissable episodes!

you seriously hoped they had gotten Kat right after she came back from her break, but I just cant for the life of me fathom what on earth she thinks she is doing, or more importantly why,

The budget cuts are biting, since when was Have I got Old News for You seen as BBC1 10:35pm material. It used to be something they filled BBC2 with.... or Dave.

Why all the East End storyline waffle? We don't seem to do it with other soaps; don't they all have their own forum?

Whos doing Kat. They have anumber of suspects and it's going to be a slow burner (xmas i think) but will run alongside Sharons Return,Ians Depression and Heathers Murder Reveal

Already it's got people talking. Some like it and some don't but that's like Stax(Stacey and Max Affair and look at that climax)

So did you see Corrie tonight?

Is Roy still making coffee in the Cafe? or how is Ashley doing in Emmerdale?

It would have needed filler at 7.30pm and filler at 8.30pm if that had been planned. EE would have done better, but it wouldn't have benefited the rest of the night. The BBC were trying to maximise the 9pm doc rather than EE's ratings tonight. If it works is another matter ...

Why shouldn't they show the Aussie soaps - they're not showing the Olympics.EastEnders will continue on BBC2 as well.Apparently Coronation Street won't be mentioning the Olympics although EE will.

Well, they repeat all the other comedy shows in that spot, like WILTY and John Bishop, so why not HIGNFY?

Wimbledon coverage rates higher on BBC1

Messy hour long programme on BBC1 containing about 20 mins of Tennis, lots of rain filler and lots of post match filler.

One Show ratings dented on BBC2

Unbilled filler airing at 7:30 on BBC2

Unbilled filler airing at 8:00 on BBC1

DIY SOS Hour long episode dropped on BBC1

EastEnders now has an awful lead-in.”

How exactly were the BBC to know it was going to rain almost the second that they changed Murray back to BBC 1. I would of thought that Eastenders was on at 8.30 just in case Murray was being shown if it had gone to a fifth set it could easily have gone upto 8.30 or beyond which since 3sets went to a tie break it might have gone on for hours.

Freeview keeps telling me I might want to retune so I can get the new Red Button olympic channel/s and that crap Channel 4 47 Channel. Given that I retuned its annoying they are still telling me I might wish to retune, mindless idiots.

I think they said that Home & Away is taking a 5 week summer break, just like they did last year, mostly so they won't catch up with Australia.

Well they could communicate with producers at Wimbledon. One Show is a live programme so could have easily handed to Sue when Murray started.

The BBC need a weather satellite!

It's the only solution to these difficult scheduling decisions.

Of course they can't move the start time of the finals.”

Apparently they are looking at moving Wimbledon to a week later from 2014 to leave a bigger gap from the French Open. Not much use for the F1 clash this year, of course
