EXCLUDING +1, BB got 1.41m. That's the highest exc +1 in a long time, since Week 2 I believe.
But I really want to know what the +1 from both, Tues nights show and last night! |

I hardly watch any telly, and George just watches bad BBC programmes so he can complain about them.

I do think BBC1 should be airing the F1 build up and race on Sunday, with tennis build up and opening couple of games on BBC2, moving to BBC1 when the race finishes, with the F1 post race moving to BBC2 The two events will overlap for probably 15 mins, and BBC1 could air both.
why not go the whole hog and put them both on BBC1 with a split screen?

Perhaps they might look to moving QOS back to a proper primetime slot; it never lets them down when it does appear away from the soaps. Better than DIY SOS and the like.
They could restore it to Thursdays at 8.30 when Coro moves? Quote:
22:00 A Short History Of Everything Else: 0.89m
Also, it was consistently billed as a four part series even though they filmed six, but now they've seemingly decided to show the other two, but at 11pm on Fridays, which in many ways appears a slightly better slot. What a strangely scheduled show this has been. But no great tragedy, because it's bloody awful, and C4 should not be doing contrived and derivate panel games. Someone pointed out it's the same premise as Rob Brydon's Annually Retentive, only for real. |

Miss Polizzi returns to Channel 5 tonight and she's going to a naturist hotel.
The very idea of a nearly nude Miss Polizzi will surely make Hotel Inspector the most watched programme in the History of Channel 5! |

I would expect to see Ab Fab on Monday at 9.30pm after the EastEnders Olympics special.

Wonder if the 8pm news update will allow BBC1 to split its Opening Ceremony coverage into two reported blocks? If not, the 7-12.30 average won't be great.
Then again, I didn't think the wedding or river pageant would over 5 hours either.. |

The peak of the Opening Ceremony is going to annihilate the Euro 2012 peak.
The entire country - literally everything - is going to be completely overwhelmed by the Olympics. I expect the Olympics will be the lead story on the BBC1 6pm and 10pm news on the Wed and Thur beforehand - all the final preparations, people arriving, speculation re who will light the flame, security, transport issues etc etc. The average rating for the Opening Ceremony is going to be depressed by the late finish but I think a peak of 25m is easily possible. |

Bit dramatic. There'll be a lot in the media but it won't be at the forefront of the majority of people's plans |

I think it was trickytree1979 who told us that the Royal Wedding reached over 30 million people, I expect the Opening Ceremony to do the same. |

Why shouldn't they show the Aussie soaps - they're not showing the Olympics.EastEnders will continue on BBC2 as well.Apparently Coronation Street won't be mentioning the Olympics although EE will.
Anyhow, obviously not in response to the media complaints, Corrie last night DID mention the Olympics. Basically one character spoke of her school's sports day and not being interested in sport and was told that the Olympics were coming soon and would she not be interested then either. I half expected her to say something like - nah,TOWIE will be on the other side. But she kept to a respectful reply that the Olympics were different.
