4OD works fine for me, as long as my PC doesn't overheat due to heavy Adobe Flash use

I'm actually starting to dislike 4OD, precisely because of the whole "let's cut to a couple of annoying, unskippable ads half-way through" policy. I much prefer iPlayer.

Oh how I hate what Flash does to my laptop. 4OD works fine for everything but Bob's Burgers. Funnily enough I have to sit through about 5 mins of perfectly playing ads before I get a black screen when the show is about to start.

Dear God, a commercial network having commercials.....
ITV have like 6 mins worth of ads every break, be thankful it's 2-2.5 on 4oD...

That tone wasn't necessary. But thanks for that...

It's the effect the ads have on the show that's the problem, often ruining punchlines etc.

Your right, probably a bit too mean. But Channel 4 need to make money some how, and I seem to remember they lose money on 4oD, so are trying to make it more profitable, hence the slight increase in ads recently

The ads are in the same place they would be during the broadcast on E4. So whatever platform you watch it on, you'd still face those issues. It's a shame they aren't willing just to use the US break that's about 8 mins in normally, that would help it to flow much better, and they wouldn't have to use awkward fade outs...

You make a good point, there.

It looked to me like E4 bought the first two seasons, pushed the first, looked at the ratings and just cut their losses and totally buried the second series.

Hopefully Sky Atlantic or FX will pick it up, but frankly I'm just glad there is a third season coming at some point, because Bob's Burgers is awesome

I can't see Sky Atlantic taking it, if it were to go on a sky branded channel, I'd guess Sky1.

I do hope someone shows the third series though, and hopefully closer to the US air dates. It starts in September in America.

Actually they're the left over episodes from season 2 production, but airing as season 3 which starts in September. Same way as other animated shows work like family guy.

Season 2 in America finished on 20th May.

Bob's Burgers has been renewed for a 4th season by FOX.

However there is still no information that I can find if a UK channel has picked up season 3. Which is a shame. I think it is better than The Cleveland Show. Which is still on E4.
