Resident Evil - The Chronicles HD

Hi all, I'm a huge RE fan, and have seen these appear on the store.

Are they worth buying bearing in mind I don't have a PS move? It looks worse than a FPS because there's no gun, just a + on screen.

I believe the game is on rails? I really wouldn't want to play an RE game if that's the case.

I could be wrong.

Yeah it's on rails. But it's Resi Evil!

However, I suspect they'll do what they did with Splinter Cell and release them on disc in a few months.

In that case I would say using Move is the very best option, from my experience on-rails requires faster movement than what a DS3 could provide.

That's only my experience though.

They've put the price up on the collection so I'll leave it.

Bit cheeky that.

I had the games on wii and bought them on ps3 last night the game plays fantastic with the sharpshooter and is a lot of fun, takes some liberties with the narrative of the games but its ok

The length is incredible if you want to play the game as intended and go for multiple playthroughs of each level

As for waiting for the price to come down how is £20 not a fair price when you consider the 2 games where full retail price Wii games now they have better graphics

£70 > £20 and still people complain and want it to be lower

Infact i could go on futher about the fact you get Resident evil 0, 1, 2, 3 and code veronica x as well as loads of new scenarios yet £20 would still be to much considering the original RRP of them games

Sorry for the rant about price it just annoys me that no matter the thread or the game people want it priced lower
