it looks like stretched bits because it's either side of the doorway, so every time anyone walks through they're pushing the lino aside. and gradually it makes a hump. but the hump is near enough the skirting to flatten out if i trim it i reckon.

I think it is possible that you were already predisposed to the condition, and the same warnings of the danger outside might have no effect on a different child.

yeh, me being serious for a sec. i have wondered about that. and i did tell my mother a while back that might be the case so she didn't think it was her fault. i'm a bit uneasy about how cross i get about being oppressed when little, and i end up fighting with myself. what is, just is, at the moment. i haven't told her i'm ill again yet. trying to keep things simple.

Evening, Rumbler.
Do you understand why Lauren and Adam are going to throw the competition to "save" Adam?

These people have been hand picked for this show. By what criteria? The mind boggles.

Thanks to those asking how I got on.
Wednesday I had my annual diabetic review with the practice nurse and a specialist nurse from an independent company. it was really quite useful. I explained what I hadn't been doing, and tried to explain why. they gave useful tips and hints, but I explained that depression gets in the way of proactive behaviours, and that in addition to depression I am so unhappy that apart from Rhys the only thing that cheers me up at the moment is eating something i really enjoy such as fish and chips and cream cakes. They were thrilled with my honesty. I found it interesting that the specialist asked me if I would still like to lose weight, and when I thought about it I found that my instinctive reaction was to say no, I didn't care any more.
Well anyway, the SN came up with the idea of a drug that makes you feel full and slows the system down. T

So the next day I had my appointment with the GP. they had reported back to him.He said that now that I was being honest with them , they could begin to help me. What did I propose to do. (It is not important, but I have never been anything but honest with them. What is the point of seeking help if you are not going to be honest. And the thought of me of all people lying,( except perhaps to myself ) is laughable. ) Still no matter. he then said he was going to prescribe this drug and I burst out crying. I said I didn't think he was going to prescribe it, that he wouldn't think I was worth it. he was amazed, and said I deserved all the help they could give. And in any case, it might save them money in the long run.
Oh, and the reason he had asked to see me, was not only the diabetes but the chloresterol which was sky high. But the actions we were discussing would be seeking to address both issues. Good news, my liver, kidneys and thyroid functions were fine. I see him again in a month and the two nurses in September.

Sorry to offload, but I know some of you don't mind, and I hope the rest ignore this.

I might have to watch embarassing bodies at 9pm, having more in common with them than with the BB HMs.
{{{{{{Litts}}}}}}. I really hope the new drug works
Thanks for letting us know - I was getting worried about you!
What is the name of the new drug?

it's a bit echoey in there now so if ever i can get to the rug shop i'll get some different coloured rugs to dampen the echo.

now i feel like i've just run a marathon and need someone to give me an energy drink and wrap me in that tinfoil stuff
well done doodle! The first step of many I hope

I dont blame you. I made the mistake of clicking the pop up button the other day. I thought it would just allow the pms to show but i was instantly bombarded with adverts for hats and huge cars.

the vid is a conversation between luke a and lauren and luke a said 'caroline is gunning for adam' and then they said so is sheivonne. so they said let's fail the task, you and me. and they shook hands.

that's only 2 people! why that would mean adam is up i don't know.

it could all backfire badly, surely. because bb is the one in control and can change the rules. it also means they can't nominate themselves.

i think i'm going to wait and see what happens. but least we know that's what they plan, even if it goes kipper up

i get that sometimes (not bombarded with hats and cars unfortunately ) but i go off to look at a vid and have to allow a load of stuff, then back to here and it's got all sorts of adverts and things that move.

that one was ok though. it includes the caroline and shievonne will nom adam bit. the rest we've put on here, that they'll try and fail.

Thanks Doodles. I didn't know that Shievonne (cant get used to that spelling and pronunciation) was against Adam. Obviously Caroline likes nobody so she must be spoiled for choice each week.
