That was in response to an audience member who suggested that maybe Conor shouldn't be in the house as he has problems containing himself. Emma had obviously been briefed on exactly how to respond to such comments.
She spouts absolute BBS!

No they don't........they always offer up some feeble excuse!

I hope Litts is OK, haven't heard from her since Wdnesday i think it was...
A lot of Ireland can't vote on BB, so that theory is blown out of the water.

These people have been hand picked for this show. By what criteria? The mind boggles.

Thanks to those asking how I got on.
Wednesday I had my annual diabetic review with the practice nurse and a specialist nurse from an independent company. it was really quite useful. I explained what I hadn't been doing, and tried to explain why. they gave useful tips and hints, but I explained that depression gets in the way of proactive behaviours, and that in addition to depression I am so unhappy that apart from Rhys the only thing that cheers me up at the moment is eating something i really enjoy such as fish and chips and cream cakes. They were thrilled with my honesty. I found it interesting that the specialist asked me if I would still like to lose weight, and when I thought about it I found that my instinctive reaction was to say no, I didn't care any more.
Well anyway, the SN came up with the idea of a drug that makes you feel full and slows the system down. T

So the next day I had my appointment with the GP. they had reported back to him.He said that now that I was being honest with them , they could begin to help me. What did I propose to do. (It is not important, but I have never been anything but honest with them. What is the point of seeking help if you are not going to be honest. And the thought of me of all people lying,( except perhaps to myself ) is laughable. ) Still no matter. he then said he was going to prescribe this drug and I burst out crying. I said I didn't think he was going to prescribe it, that he wouldn't think I was worth it. he was amazed, and said I deserved all the help they could give. And in any case, it might save them money in the long run.
Oh, and the reason he had asked to see me, was not only the diabetes but the chloresterol which was sky high. But the actions we were discussing would be seeking to address both issues. Good news, my liver, kidneys and thyroid functions were fine. I see him again in a month and the two nurses in September.

Sorry to offload, but I know some of you don't mind, and I hope the rest ignore this.

I might have to watch embarassing bodies at 9pm, having more in common with them than with the BB HMs.
I hope your treatment is successful, Lits.

Sorry that's complete nonsense! It really bugs me when I see comments like this.........do people really think Scots will blindly follow like sheep because the entrant is Scottish! No they don't, believe it or not were all capable of making up our own mind!
The population of Scotland in any case makes that scenario impossible.......even if we were stupid enough to vote for the person The electoral voting system proves that it's well nigh impossible for Scotland to have a voice!

Morning SR

We have some of your rain this morning, can you take it back please
No it wasn't bullying........what goes around comes around. Arron had no qualms about chucking a cup of water onto Becky's bed.

This is the 1st dry day for weeks. The city bypass was closed yesterday because of flooding! Some of the roads beside me were like driving through a river!

What Arron did was wrong, and more importantly (to me) was dull and repetitive to watch, but nobody seemed to mind at the time, and most were laughing.
The punishment is irrelevant. It is reasonable to strongly object to rule breaking but they should have said this at the time.
The ill will should have been directed at the production staff, because the housemates had endorsed rule breaking, and were only quibbling about the punishment.

Edit... So Adam and Lauren and everyone else who breaks the rules should have fishy buckets chucked on them too, which suits me just fine. Now that's entertainment!

I think you will find it was the Blue team that were laughing I dont think his own team were equally as amused as you seem to think.

Doods well done with the curtain opening, all good progress .

Litts glad to hear you were upfront and honest with the medical staff and that the drug has been prescribed, onwards and upwards .
I think Deana may not have as big a fanbase as it seems. It appeared to me that many were voting for her merely to have her beat Conor and Arron in the vote. It was all about sending a message to Conor, in particular, that his behaviour was unacceptable, and to a lesser extent to Arron.

Goodmorning all

I hope you're right (and you could well be). I like Adam, and he certainly stood out with his Arron stunt!

I was surprised that Luke S apparently kept his true feelings close to his chest about Arron. That man has great focus on the main prize.

I love lazy Sundays. Normally we're off visiting someone or other with shopping mayhem and chores thrown in. None of that today. I really am in the good books this week.

I agree that her fanbase probably isnt as large as we may think but judging by the Adam v Deane poll out there, it doesnt look encouraging for Adam if it came down to a two way.

Edit - just looked at the poll again and think Adam has gained a bit more support since I last looked but he is still behind.

Good morning everyone

it was telling that when Connor was crying and Luke was with him telling him to focus on why he was there, Conor said it was to raise his profile (or words to that effect, my memories not to clear these days) and Luke S, said they were there to Win the show

Just scoffing my bacon and egg butty

Relieved that Freddie has just come in, I let him out this morning (no rain here atm) then looked at the river and started getting worried about him. The current is very strong and I get irrational fears of thugs lobbing him in

I am taking a few minutes to cool down before we nip down to the plant nursery to buy some more plants for the balcony.
Sam has cleared the garage and thrown a lot of stuff out.We don't use it as a garage as Annoula -from- the-basement's back door opens into it and she uses it as an outdoor kitchen in the summer - it is open on one side.
I gave her the folding table I use for the Bazaars so she now has 3 tables in there, complete with fancy cloths and pot plants...
He has also pulled out the fridge/freezer as it is alternately over-cooling then over-heating.
The vacuum cleaner overheated this morning, almost all electrical appliances go crazy in the heat.
I must change my top and swish my face, yet again.........

He is cute isn't he You'd let him out- he'd drive you bonkers demanding to go out I made a decision that I'd rather have a happy cat

It's actually very safe around here, I worry more at the weekends (especially when the sun's out) as we get a lot of tourists here. He seems to have stopped his habit of boarding coaches though, some are from abroad...imagine the bill to get him back!!!

Arty, glad you're getting stuff done! I need to get my arse into gear
