Good Morning All and Hello Part 259! Congrats Mrs P, on getting the OP (you are going to get this all day now!)

Some great conversations on the end of the last thread last night! I agree with MT most closely, I think, that I just want more consistent screentime and to see them interract with family events, within the Masoods, and not be missed out of those opportunities.

I'm ok with any kind of storyline as long as not cheating and I don't mind if it's Yasmin related. I'd like a Syed and Masood scene very much, I think they've been badly neglected, so I'm hoping we get a tiny something with the football next week. Fingers crossed.

The gifs aren't really mine, I'm just spreading the joy around a bit.

On the subject of storylines, I would love them to look more closely at Syed's religion and his relationship with the Muslim community and the community at mosque now that he has acceptance from his family. We never even see Syed praying anymore but its such an important part of his identity and something that Christian has previously expressed interest in understanding as well. I know I'm probably delusional in hoping for this, but I think it would make for interesting screentime. Not the most dramatic, but Marc would play a blinder exploring the emotional and spiritual journey that Syed has been on.

It really bugs me that we've never seen him praying since he left Masood & Zainab's house. Prayer is a normal part of his every day life, not just something he does when things are going wrong, it's a shame tptb have forgotten that :sleep:
