Afternoon Joe. *clunk plink plonk*

Yup, it was bouncing off the ground!

It's bloody ridiculous, they're having 'staff issues' apparently. I know someone who needed their gallbladder removed 3 weeks ago, they only do it via keyhole surgery at St Johns, so he had to go to the Royal just in case they needed to do a major op. He had it done via keyhole in the end!

I looked at the pics of the Newcastle area and the massive flooding they had It mizzled here until midday, been OK until recently and now it's clouded over and the wind's picked up, and it blew over my newly potted pepper plant Fortunately it survived! I'm not sure how many of our cucs, carrots, onions, tomatoes, peppers and chillies will actually grow and ripen in this horrendous climate!

The queues at Glasgow central train station today were a mile or so long, with people trying (in vain) to travel. It's the start of the Edinburgh Trades holidays today, not a good start!
The West coast & East coast lines have had landslides, it's just a complete nightmare!

I also noticed the other day some of the leaves on the trees are turning yellow & a lot of them have actually fallen from the trees! Haven't even had a bloody summer yet!

Not one of the seeds I planted have taken this year........I haven't bought bedding plants for 3 years, seems pointless if they're just gonna become waterlogged!

Evening peeps

The best NHS Lothian hospital is without a shadow of a doubt the good old Western General, in my ever so humble opinion of course.

There's plenty ice in that if you feel the need to cool down.

Also you could sing-a-long to this!

MASHED POTATO!!!
The french chappie playing federer at the moment, you can almost tell which side he dresses too in some of the footage angles.

My son loved Bodger and Badger and would randomly yell mashed potato out frequently.

The Royal certainly leaves a lot to be desired. The staff in the Obs ward of A&E are completely unprofessional. *clunkity* The ward auxiliarys also leave a lot to be desired.

Evening Scotty

I've never yet had a patient who has had dealings with the RIE had a good word to say about it.

Wasn't there a recent report which slammed the hospital for their lack of hygiene?

Hmmm, there were areas which did not do as well as they should have during the HEI inspections.
