I don't think any of them are particularly attractive.

d’affernoon.

Been running round after the cats. Poor Jasper has had very bad squits. Took him to the vets and he seems well apart from that, he had to have a fur cut and looks a lot smaller now. It’s probably anxiety after going to a rather busy cattery. He has been given some special food and I’ve had to do a lot of cat ordering around to see that the right cat gets the right food, not that it would do any harm if they did get each others, but Jasper wouldn’t benefit if Electra and Elmo wolfed his special dinner. They have been very good so far. The cats have their preferred dining position so it’s not been as difficult as I expected.

So long as he doesn’t have to have the hat as well.

Poor big puss – 18lbs of him. He seems to be sorted. I think it was just anxiety, he seemed very stressed yesterday because he knew he was mucky and he doesn’t like it. Sedation (for the clean up) seems to suit him.

Awwww poor Jasper
I've only ever once put a cat in a cattery & I vowed I would never do it again. Patch was so miserable when he came back, he had obviously pined while he was there. Poor wee man.
I know your 3 are used to going to the cattery but who knows what goes through their wee heads. Hope he picks up soon.

Morning wee thready.

Morning SR *ignores twonk*

One of the things that stopped me getting a puddy tat was that I do have to go away from time to time what with my mum being in the home in Hertfordshire, and I have never put a cat in a cattery.....my son would visit and feed the cat, but also there is the fear of all the farm vehicles which thunder past the place without warning.....a previous tenant had a cat run over and what if that happened and I was not there? What if it happened when I was So much as I would love cats, I can't really have them

Me meece traps is empty

We don’t really have a choice and they’re usually fine but the cattery was full this time and I think that may have given them extra stress.

Electra and Jasper hate travelling in the car and that doesn’t help. I’ll look into giving them travel sickness pills when they go next time.
