I’m going to look at the dresses in Peebles soon.

She’s just had a new delivery and said she would let me know when it came in. Grotty rainy day, though.

Windy and cooler but fine here Gemo....hope you find what you are looking for and it's not too caningly expensive

Don't be too self critical, if the clothes are lovely and you have confidence in yourself, you'll look amazing.

If you like then who cares what others think. You dress in whatever gives you confidence & makes you feel good.

I don’t normally worry too much but I want my daughter to be pleased with me.

I got some floppy hareem pants, a skirt, a tunic which has two part, a dress, and a jackety thing (can’t find a picture but it’s like a linen shirt with a lace panel at the front) and they all layer up in different ways. They’re all blue apart from the trousers which are white. The people in the shop said they looked lovely (not just the owner but other customers). They all feel very comfortable.

The skirt is lovely and they can all be dressed up or down.

I usually take really cheap stuff on holiday when we are touring (stuff I don’t care if it gets lost).

The clothes are mainly linen so the will last.

One of the nicest things was Mr G was really pleased with them. He had spotted the shop and thought it would be right.

Have you thought which combo you'll wear for the party?

I tried on the skirt with the dress. The tunic is a darker blue and I haven’t tried them together.

All the pieces are very lovely, Mr G did well, I can't beleive you've a husband who could recognise such beautiful clothes....none of the men I know would have any clue

He was with me when I saw them in the shop in Andorra and I’d been bombarding him with web links when I was trying to find similar stuff here. After 40 years he knows fairly well what I like and I rarely buy clothes so he’s usually pleased when I find something I like. It was actually him the spotted the top I wore for the Gala dinner last autumn.

I’m not very demanding. I lost one of my earrings before we went away and he said he’d get me another pair while we were away as my birthday present. There was nothing under three figures so I told him not to bother. Earrings get lost so I don’t want a fortune spending on them.

I haven’t got my ruby wedding gift either – haven’t seen anything I like. Kerala does rubies, though, so I might be looking while I’m there.
