Raining most of the day and now we have thunderstorms.

Edit/ It's our music festival this weekend with hundreds under canvas next to the river, poor sods. The pubs will be busy

I was in Grantham where it was torrential with approaching thunder.

Back home in south Lincs and I've beaten the storm back here, but it's on it's way.

Thunderstorms all day but the sun has finally come out.

Fingers massively crossed for tomorrow as I'm off to Heaton Park to see The Stone Roses and really don't want to be wading around in mud.

Just started hammering down. Child at after-school club, so going to pick him up in about ten minutes, therefore right on cue!

Alot of south Birmingham is under water, my sons school refused to closed and herded them all into the hall for the breaks- plenty although have closed around here.
Also a couple got stranded with water upto mirrors.
The Bristol Road (major road in south Brum) was down to 1 lane due to the road being flooded

Its lovely today. Sunny, warm with a light breeze. Perfect weather.

Yesterday was horrid. It was overcast and humid and i was hot and bothered all day. All i could think about was getting home to have a shower. I couldn't sleep last night for the heat either.
