I have never been a fan of ‘Mr Clooney’. The press in this country make out like he is the most eligible bachelor in the world, blah blah! Well I beg to differ. Ok so he isn’t bad looking but he isn’t all that by any means. There are far better looking men than him. Each year at the Baftas its nauseating how the newsreaders at Sky News get way too overexcited at the prospect of speaking to Clooney. He has such a big ego that he expects to win the best actor award. Well I hope it never happens, this vain specimen of a man should do us all a favour and go back to where he started in ER… oh no that show has been axed. It’s a shame the same cannot be said for Clooney’s acting career.

I like him, I think he's a good actor, he seems a nice guy and he's very handsome, what's not to like.

I wasn't that keen on him in ER (or rather - I just didn't notice him) but I've liked him more as time has gone by. I think the fact that he reminds me of Cary Grant when Cary Grant was at his most attractive and popular possibly has something to do with it. |

I have always had a bit of a thing for Eriq.I can see why someone would find Tom Hardy attractive, but he's not really the type I go for. (My main crush is Dominic West, who makes me swoon!) Tom Hardy was great in Wurhering Heights though. Still struggling with the OP's dislike of Clooney....everyone has different tastes, and I get it if someone doesn't like an actor's style of acting, but there seems to be no reason to dislike Clooney on a personal level. |

Lol well look back through the posts where people have said they don't like him and their reasons for it and you'll know. Why are you questioning people's dislike towards this guy in a thread created for that purpose?

I could not stand him in ER. He was just smug. Not a reason not to like someone but hey.

I was really put off him when I saw a picture of him as a very young child - he had the exact same face as he has now. It creeped me out

The absolute worst thing about the internet is the way in which anonymous people have nothing better to do than talk about how they can't stand certain people, often for little or no reason other than petty jealousy.

I think he's classically handsome but a bit smarmy. He seems like he has a good sense of humour though. As for acting, in his ER days and a bit beyond, I couldn't watch him because of his wobbly head every time he speaks. It used to really irritate me to the point of turning over! He still does the wobbly head but not nearly as much.

If you were hoping that we here at gossip forum were working towards a Nobel Prize, you were mistaken. Gossip by definition means something negative.

![]() I suppose that on the internet it's there forever, and that the people being talked about could potentially read the stuff that's written and get upset about negative comments, but surely that's no different to them overhearing a conversation about them on a plane? You can't stop people having opinions, and voicing them |
