TV around £200-300
Hi, I am a student and my TV has just broken. Dont know how but I am looking for something new. A portable one preferably around 15" to 18". Price range is obviously £200-300 and it needs to be able to work with R1 dvds (NTSC compatible i think?? or 60hz?)
Would like something stylish but realise that tfts are probably out of my price range. Dont know what to look for ![]() Thanks |

Dont know what to look for ![]() Thanks HI, i have just bought a Thompson 28" flat screen widescreen TV from Makro last week because my Tv blew up. It's OK with a couple af scarts and side sockets, zoom in & out, fastext, nicam stereo, stereo+ & mono settings. Its a stop gap tv for when I can afford a big lcd in the future. was looking at the RP ones but things have changed money wise. I paid just over £200 but you can pick up small screens for less than £100 from just about anywhere. Cheers |

This one looks good, it's a PureFlat screen aswell so theres a benifit to start you off..
![]() http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/st...lickfrom=image Most new TVs will do NTSC (Material From the USA) so chances are this tv does support it. As long as you have a multiregion DVD player of course
