I dunno. I have compared it side by side on another ipad3 and it's fractionally quicker loading normal websites. Java however is slower.

At the moment only Safari gets to access the Nitro java engine which is about 4 times faster.
Rumour had it that Nitro would eventually be made available once it was fully stable and secure. Just like the JIT java engine in Android, it is far more complex code. |

It's OK. Sharing bookmarks is nice, though I do that on Safari already via sync. Chrome is my default browser on my MacBook Pro though so it's something I'm used to. It looks nice on iPad than iPhone though.
