Most entertaining and enjoyable UK films
My choices include
Trainspotting the 2011 prison drama Screwed Buster Attack The Block which was on Channel Four last Sunday night The Dammed United And Blitz which was released last year and stars the brilliant Jason Statham as a London detective hunting down a cop killer |

I'm surprised you found that many; most UK movies are neither entertaining nor enjoyable. Worthy, dull and parochial more like.

Dog Soldiers was one of the most interesting, entertaining films I've seen in a while.

Others I can think of that I have enjoyed are: Shaun of the Dead Hot Fuzz Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. Trainspotting Rock N'Roller The Full Monty The Life of Brian (yeah I know it's old!) When we do a film well, I think it can be really good. I love seeing films that contain British humour because American humour is different to ours. It's just a shame that we can't manage to do more British films. I suspect budgets plays a large part in this but I can't say for sure. |

That was an awesome film!As for Gregory's Girl which you mentioned earlier in the thread, it's a bit old now but it was good in its time. And I'm surprised no-one has mentioned the Harry Potter films yet. |

I agree with many of the mentioned above, but some favorites of mine are...
Match Point The Hole Finding Neverland Love Actually I do think as book-to-film adaptions go Atonement and Bridget Jones' Diary are very good. |
