Hi,

Excuse my hazy recollection, but I am trying to recall a TV-series which featured a man in prison who believed he was Christ/God and a female investigator who required his help to solve some kind of incident. Seem to remember he was covered in tattoos, possibly on his face. Actor reminds me of Billy Bob Thornton, but more gaunt and he has appeared as a policeman in other programmes.

I have probably got some of the detail horribly wrong but it is driving me nuts !!!

I think it's an episode from THE X-FILES but I'm not sure which one. It sounds somewhat familiar.
