Good gaming setup?!

It was built in 2007 so it is a few years old, however it's been offered at quite a cheap price so i'm tempted!

Advice please!

That shows its age also what you need depends on the games you want to play and at what setting, some games at max need quite a hefty PC.

Vista is not what I'd use now a minimum would be Windows 7 64bit with at least 6GB RAM and an intel i5 processor or better.

Thanks for the reply.

I realise it would need the upgrades you mentioned.

I'm just trying to figure out if it's worth buying and upgrading myself or just holding off till i can save enough to buy a custom build of my own choosing.

Running out of patience with my current PC!

Not bad. It should tide you over whilst saving up for a mega games PC: http://pcspec.abcde.co.uk/

£100 for all that is a very good price. You could even sell it in a years time and get a large chunk of the money back. Or keep the monitor and speakers for your next machine.

For £100 thats a good buy, considering if you were to buy the equivalent PSU today it would cost approx £90.

As already suggested dump vista and go for Win7 64 bit and upgrade the memory.

Bargain, buy it, even just for the case speakers keyboard and mouse would cost you lots more than that.

If that computer has no problems then it would be a real bargain at £100.

Edit: The OP's computer not annie's .... that's got to be worth at least £150 .
