Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm sure years ago before Katie met Tom, she used to do a lot more interviews and be a lot more out there with regards to being in the public eye. Since she married Tom I've always thought she looked really unhappy, but who knows. I've never liked him...always thought he came across as a complete and utter ****.

My partner and I have only one child, and don't plan on having anymore, so just wondering why people think it strange.

I do think that Tom is the biological father. Although they did not have to physically have sex to get the sperm to meet the egg

The last time she was in anything of note was Batman Begins 7 years ago, but her performance was so unbelievably god-awful. Since then she's barely been in anything that didn't tank at the box office or was well recieved.

She got sacked from that franchise for promoting her relationship with Tom more than the actual movie. And that role was actually written for her, IIRC! Maggie Gyllenhaal did a much better job with the character than Katie did, too.

I always thought that whole fiasco was weird. I wonder if Tom was controlling enough to not want her to be in the franchise or something?

I really hope for Suri's sake that she stays with her mum. She does seem much closer to her than to her dad, though of course thats only what we see in the papers. Given Tom's beliefs I imagine she has a much better time with her mum anyway.

In Kidmans case, I think the adoption was done through Scientolgy contacts hence they may have been able to put her under more pressure as well as them being much older and able to give their own opinion.

katie is clearly very active in her child's like and Suri is still very young I can't see why any judge would give Cruise custody, but I can see them going down shared 50/50 custody.

Can't say I was surprised about the divorce the blind gossip has been hinting at this for months. I'm glad she is finally breaking away from him and most likely the cult too.

You rarely see Tom with Suri now, compared to when she was smaller he was always photographed with her..she is photographed with Katie every single day there is no way Katie could lose Suri as powerful as Tom is as Katie seems to be a loving Mother.
Nicoles children were adopted so that's why she had to walk away from them Tom obviously owned them not her. He must have bought them

It is surprising they are splitting up though, even though it was obvious Tom is an oddball with issues I always thought they would stay together for Suri.
