Has there been anyone else linked to the role now that it seems that Mick doesn't want the job?

Many, myself included, don't want him, he left us in the lurch after I believe being the first to do the now oh so famous "badge kissing", after that he's the hero of very few at the City Ground.

Whilst I'm not exactly thrilled with the managers being linked with us, I just want to clear up that having listened to the entire press conference on more than one occasions, none of the Al Hasawi's used the word "Iconic". They did mention they wanted a manger who "know's the Division" but nothing was said about an Iconic Manager. Not really sure where the press have got that one from, but it seems to have stuck.

Plus he's a shite manager. That's quite important as well.

He did get Sunderland promoted if I remember correctly, so he has done more than a lot of other managers have, so to call him that, is not really fair.

All the Internet links point to Hoddle at the moment. That'll be the fourth former England manager (at some level) we'll have appointed in recent times, should it prevail.

Hoddle will be a good choice. He knows football, and is due some further success.

I wish Spurs had given him more time.

Even though his last job was an unmitigated disaster?

Having spent billions yes. He then struggled with Ipswich and hasn't worked since.

Yeah it was a bit.

Didn't Keane spend £9m on Craig Gordon? Or was that after he was sacked?

Let's face it, whoever Forest employ there's going to be parts of their CV that you can pull apart should you wish to. It's not relevant really, all that matters is they get stuck into the job, try and build a squad that can challenge and get the club moving forward.

I'm quite open minded and will adopt a wait and see approach before I start criticising whoever is appointed.

Somewhat out of the blue, it appears Sean O'Driscoll is the third man to have been interviewed, not sure who the fourth is. Warnock and Erikkson have come in in the betting, but that's probably just speculative.

Following on from my earlier post, O'Driscoll has been offered the job.
