Simon Cowell wants toughest 'X Factor' bootcamp yet?

Quote:
Simon Cowell is reportedly planning to make changes to this year's X Factor format.

The former judge of the UK series is said to be looking to increase the difficulty of the boot camp stage of the competition, reports The Sun.

Cowell is reportedly implementing the changes after dubbing last year's crop of contestants the "worst ever" on the show.

This year's hopefuls will apparently have to perfect their dancing and styling among other aspects of their act.

The contestants will also be working more closely than ever with producers to choose the best songs that suit their voice.

Cowell also reportedly is looking to see acts with more "attitude" than last year.

My thoughts, I have seen this coming since part way through last years series I think it is important the producers let contestants be themselves what frustrates about X Factor and The Voice is that X Factor has to be about having "The X Factor" and The Voice is all about having a a voice allegedly. There needs to be a singing show which doesn't have a gimmicks and let artists sing whatever style they want.

As for "wanting acts with attitude" please Cowell don't take X Factor down the trash TV TOWIE route.

Edit: This is coming from The Sun so I guess I shouldn't take it to seriously.

The same is said every year; last year we were told that the acts would need to write and perform an original song at Bootcamp.

It's probably made up then, I remember the story about the producers giving models a free pass into the live shows no matter what their singing ability was like.
