Glau has had one off/small recurring roles in Big Bang Theory, CSI & Grey's Anatomy, assuming she doesn't have a regular role it should be fine...

Has but it's always been a joke that she is the kiss of death for sci-fi

The 4400
Terminator TSCC
The Cape
Firefly
Dollhouse

were all cancelled while Serenity was a box office bomb (but went on to be a hit on dvd)

A good start but felt too much like a reset.

I suspect this season will be more of the same, with an Alpha of the week being chased.

Only just finished season one - very good, much better that I thought it would be from the premis, sounded a little too much like "Heroes light"
I shall try to 'aquire' it soon.

I was a tad disappointed by this episode, as koantemplation said it was just one big reset really. I'm hoping it's not going to be a case of 'catch the bad Alpha' each week, and that they develop the Stanton Parish angle into a more interesting story arc.
.....and there wasn't nearly enough Gary

I watched this for the first time and thought it was ok...

The premise of season 2 seems to be a bit of a rip off of Heroes season 3 though

Heroes had villains escaping from Level 5 remember?

This is not a good start for Season 2, if it doesn't dramatically improve I can see it getting axed.

I hope she does join. That could be quite interesting, having a team member who loses their memory every month.

Especially when Hicks has an affair with her.

Death, taxes, annoying Hicks liaison with a female cast member

I enjoyed the focus on Bill in this episode, the lack of Nina was also a plus.

Is anybody still watching this?

I am staying with it till the end of the season - unlikely to get renewed in my opinion.

What are ratings like?
