Many years ago I drew £50 out of the account and later I noticed that they had credited it instead of a debit. So I was actually £100 better off. In those days, that was quite a lot of money. I gave in to temptation and kept quiet and three years later they found the mistake and took it back!
I didn't get into any trouble. I guess in effect I had an interest free loan.

It's amazing what can happen. A while back I got a bank card with my name on it - though I didn't have an account with that bank.
At first I thought I was the victim of some sort of scam.
It turned out that there was someone with the same surname and initials at a very similar address half a mile away. So it was the postman's mistake.
I notified the bank and sent it back. They didn't bother to say thanks.
It amazes me that they don't send these things out by recorded delivery.

Did you draw out all the money?

See the rest of my post. I accidentally hit the send button before I had finished
