I have to say, I really miss Carla and Leanne's friendship from a few years ago, before Carla started liking Peter and the whole affair stuff obviously!

Apart from Michelle, there isn't really anyone else on the street that Carla can be proper friends with (well maybe Hayley, but they don't go out together etc) ..

I think the storyline is good, I just wish their friendship wasn't ruined! I was watching old clips on YouTube last night from when they became close enough friends.

I was also watching the stuff with Carla confronting Leanne when she was working as an escort because Carla thought Leanne had slept with her husband - ohh how the tables have turned hehe!

I preferred Leanne alot more back then as well. I have to admit, when she was a druggie, prostitute, etc, she seemed nicer, but now she seems so stuck up and hypocritical. But I doubt the friendship between Carla and Leanne will ever be repaired, sadly the writers have ruined it.

I wouldnt be so sure, Carla had an affair with Maria's husband and now strangely they're best mates. I wouldnt be suprised if Carla and Leanne made up at some point down the line. People in soaps have very short memories.

Leanne has always been jealous of Carla and I have previously said that Leanne was more appealing when she was a prozzie, a druggie, an arsonist, a thief, cheat and so on. Now she is a sanctimonious, bitter, jealous, hypocritical, vile woman.

Michelle and Maria are Carla's best friends. Hayley and Carla care about eachother but their friendship has not been explored properly.

Saint Leanne doesn't have any friends for obvious reasons.

Haha I know! I was watching last night how Leanne was telling Carla to go for it with Liam, and obviously it's different when your in that position but listening to it rather funny when you apply it to Peter.

Leanne is not Maria, that is the difference.

Maria forgave Carla and reached out to her when when she needed help more than ever but it is hard to believe that someone so nasty, bitter and spiteful like Leanne, could ever do the same.

Although Leanne is far more feistier than Maria, I've always thought of Maria as a bit of a doormat.

But yes OP I really miss their friendship. I liked when Carla forgave Leanne after Paul/Liam and then Leanne really was a rock for Carla during Liam. That's why Leanne's comments about Carla not feeling or being a maneater annoy me, as she saw how broken Carla was wihh Liam's death and how much she loved him- obviously its completely different when it's your own husband someone is messing with but I always thought Leanne understood that Carla only really went for someone she couldn't have when she loved them and it wasn't a mindless thing

Yeh, especially after Carla and Leanne were told by Maria that she was pregnant....Leanne told Carla to still go for it, but Carla didn't because of the baby, even though he did love him and then like you said, Leanne knew how devastated Carla was after he died

Leanne is great...... Carla, on the other hand, cannot be trusted with her "friends" men.
