Is anyone else really looking forward to this game? It's about time that Nintendo finally announced it and I can't wait to see Layton and Luke in 3D! One of my favourite gaming series of all time!

I mentioned in the post below this (at the time of writing) that i am selling my 3DS and getting a 3DSXL when this game is release, i wouldn't miss a layton game for anything

My favourite moment was the end of the third game, not sure how to spoiler tag so i'll just say that it made me cry, it was the first game to make me cry i was that invested in the story and characters, final fantasy VII came pretty close to making me cry but the tears never came out

Same here with me. I have never played a game with that much emotion in it and just like you, I cried. It was just too sad!
That emotion is something that a Layton game does so well with the end of Pandora's box and Spectre's call being the same as well but they had nothing on The Lost Future.

I'm dead excited about this too but would have to upgrade to a 3DS to play it, wish it was out on the old DS too!

I have all four on DS and am looking for a 3ds specifically for Layton, Ive never been able to connect my ds to the net so Ive missed out on the daily downloads, if I was to get a 3ds will I be able to download them finally?

I know. For some reason my DS has never been able to connect to the Internet hub, it always says the security is too high. Really glad that the 3DS can though and we can get the goodness that is the daily puzzles for a year.

Im so annoyed that its only avalible on 3DS the proffesor layton series are my fav games.
they made the other games on normal why cant they release the last in the series on normal ds too.

I didnt like how they used the Fake Town thing AGAIN in LF but it was so sad when we find the girl is actually Claire, the Professor's lost love and he wont see her again
