Being in the minority doesn't make anyone a misfit. Especially when you can find different social areas that embrace you. Beung an Alfie fan may put you in theminority in people that post on DS but it doesn't if you are part of the Shane Richie fan club, or on the Kalfie Facebook page. It it all relative.
I actuaLly really like the label 'misfit' on principle.
There is 'ribbing' on this forum and I think there should be provided it is good natured. I have no idea who has been reported, who has done it (for the record i've hit report twice in my nearly 10 years here. Once when somebody was personally offensive to me about my critically sick mother repeatedly and secondly when somebody posted death threats to an ee actress and their child) or why and unless i'm directly involved I have no reason to know.
But it is clear from people that have either been banned or chosen to leave because of the way things are going that many are reporting people for nothing more than chatting, posting bantery remarks or showing a sense of humour and I think the forum is a poorer place without them.

If you accept that most people on here are (at least currently) against Alfie then you must realise that there will be a lot of people ready to attack any defense you make for him. That doesn't mean they are getting at you, just keeping stating their views of a character that you like.

Having multiple accounts sounds like too much farting about for my liking, all that logging in and out as different people, I just couldn't be arsed!
They do happen though because there was someone who posted in the music forum who had more than one account because the same comments were cut and pasted onto posts by more than one username and some of the stuff even came from other forums as well!
I do accept that most people aren't fans of Alfie, especially at the moment and I know people are just stating their views and it's not aimed at me personally, it's just me who takes stuff to heart too much.
FWIW I haven't really been sticking up for him much lately because I think he's being really mean and I feel really sorry for Kat.

Sometimes a large office block near me does a fire drill and all of the workers congregate outside my house and talk loudly. It drives me mad.
