Same. I wasn't as excited as I thought I'd be when I saw those Silas soap scoop pics, just because ... well, it's bladdy Tacksus, isn't it?

Should have been pregnant Nance. Know you hate her though. But if anyone should be good at snooping and sticking her nose in ...

I will need a lot of convincing that Bianca is up to the job in her Silas-related scenes. And Will having a storyline too is a worry, I think they're two of the weakest actors in the show. I just hope they don't derail the good stuff.

I've got to be honest I would even have been happier if it was Doug.

Sadly since they downgraded Bex from love of his life to some girl he knew he hasn't really got that much to get closure for.

Stupid HOs.

I wondered about Doug as detective actually. It would give PJ something really meaty to do, that didn't involve slicing salami in the deli, or running away from Ste's salami.

Let's face it, I doubt the police will crack it.

I can't see why he would do it, but the doctor did suddenly appear - from where? - when Brendan carried Lynsey's body out and the alarm was raised. He wasn't still with Mercedes, since she appeared soon afterwards from the opposite direction with Riley and Little Bob, so where had he been since he'd dropped her off?

Not Mercedes?

You would think so wouldn't you.

Maybe he has got her covered with our Paul.

I imagine if Paul is the accomplice then there will be some final scene where Silas gets his gloves on to finish Mercy off once and for all but Paul, having fallen for her carefree sexuality, charm and lemon sucking face, will save her.

In fact I could see that happening, and Paul getting away scot free as some kind of a hero.

It would give them a ready made bf for Mercy, and an end to the seemingly endless Riley stalking, a fitting end for our Silas and they would have a ready made serial killing replacement in the village for when the ratings fall again.

Ooh actually that would be quite good, do that HOs, do that.

Ew I was just going to turn my calendar over and it's Bart.

This. Is. Genius.

I have a slight problem with Mercedes staying alive, but as we seem to be stuck with her for all eternity, I might as well get used to it.

Yeah obviously the ideal end would be Dr Paul being that bit too late to save her but being adopted by the McQueens because he tried, or maybe because he failed, even they must be bored with her now.

He can marry Carmel and continue to murder without her ever having a clue.

Who writes this dialogue?

She was distressed, very distressed, proper losing it.

What kind of sentence is that, who speaks like that.

Mercy wouldn't say she was distressed, the proper losing it bit is fine but it's a sentence that two different people would say joined together.

Where do they get these scriptwriters from, I know nothing about writing at all, but I read a lot and you have to keep your characters dialogue consistent.

Nothing ruins a scene more than someone coming out with something that their character would never say especially if you follow it up with something totally typical of them.

I'm not nitpicking either, it's important.

I don't think looking for clues will help to be honest.

You might spot the right one, someone looking shifty or being somewhere they shouldn't be but since they are making everyone look guilty how will you know which clue means something and which are red herrings.

Yeah hahaha, this is what I was thinking too.

They're going out of their way to make even the unlikeliest look the most guilty (Ally, I mean seriously he may as well have demonstrated how he would've killed her if he had done it) so it's really difficult to tell the truth from the rest of it.

Grey is Walker's colour. Perfect. Like black is Brendan's.

And there is no way I'm watching every episode again to see if I can spot clues. Nice try, Karen.

Your right just thought I might of missed something, but they are making too many people look guilty.

I got to the end of the omnibus then watched the first bit of Friday's E4 (not just for the hug, honest!) and wondering why Paul didn't go home and why he was still hanging around the village and whether the car parked outside Chez Chez is his rather than Brendan's.

Plot convenience.

But no, I am feeling pretty certain he's the copycat killer.

Helloo, loving the omnibus commentary

Someone reviewed my fic saying it was similar to another they'd read Mojo's?

I keep thinking The Dog is College Coffee. I was like "Jacqui doesn't work in CC & then realised it was The Dog.

I hate the new Dog set with a passion.

The inside just doesn't match the outside any more. It doesn't even work as a set. It looks miniscule. The old one had an illusion of space.

I realise this is a small thing to grump about, but I actually hate it. I wanted Brendan to walk in and go, what the **** happened here?
