42" LG LCD TV problems
I have a issue with a 42" LG LCD TV.The screen started to flicker and you could still see the TV, but now all you get is a black screen (sound ok). I switch the tv off at the wall and remove the plug. After about 5 mins I plug the tv back in and switch it on and all is ok. Any idea what the problem could be??

Is it OK now? - or does it still go off after a while?.
There have been major problems with 42 inch LG LCD panels, with capacitors burning up inside them - presumably this starts off with intermittent problems before becoming permanent. |

But why only the 42"?
Don't they use similar capacitors in other size TV's? |

They do fail in some of the cheap portable sets (Beko, Toshiba etc.) - but they are easy to replace (if you can find a source for them). |
