Storage 24 - looks awful!!

I'm seeing so many adverts for this film and yet it looks absolutely terrible.

Also, how did Noel Clarke ever win that Bafta? Was it Doctor Who fans voting en mass or something? I can't think why else it would be. He was only just passable in Doctor Who, which is a tea time family show...how is he getting these movie roles?

So far it seems to have ok reviews. Even the famed critic Kim Newman gave it 3 stars in Empire.
He said some good scares and decent creature effects.

Noel wrote 'Kidulthood' and wrote and directed 'Adulthood'. I actually think he's a better writer than actor! Those two films contributed a lot to him getting nominated for that Bafta. He's done a lot for British film IMO.

I think him getting movie roles is down to his work in the above films rather than Doctor Who.

I think he also penned Storage 24, I'm looking forward to it, I love British genre films. There are quite a few being released in the coming months.

Not a fan of Noel Clarke at all. I think he is very overhyped. Storage 24 doesn't interest me at all and can't wait for the pop up adverts I'm seeing all over websites to go away.

I can't help thinking that British screenplays are heavily influenced by the cost of the filming location.

'Attack the Block', 'Storage 24'. What next?, 'The Shed'?

like him or not, noel clarke manages to get films made where countless others fail. plus they seem to be popular

adulthood, kidulthood, 4321, fast girls (the latter 2 had great roles for women too) and now storage 24, which is actually a great little film. total b movie but a good one.

4321 was good, Storage 24 had some good bits in it but I probably wouldn't see it again.

I enjoyed this film.

I always go into a film without any preconceived ideas about it - if you don't expect much then you can't be disappointed. (except maybe Lost in Translation and Burn after Reading - both being a complete waste of time)

It made a change to watch a scifi film set in modern day London rather than the US or in space.

10/10 to Noel Clarke for trying something different.
8/10 for the film for the one-liners and an entertaining 90 minutes.

Mickey was alright, but Noel himself is a big headed wretch of a man.

I hear he's worried about being cut out of the new Star Trek. I wonder if JJ Abrams met him, and thought "what a tit" and got his scissors out.

I thought this was OK, but I wouldn't recommend it wholeheartedly.

Noel Clarke & Ned Dennehy were the shining lights, but the rest of the acting was terrible.

It had some decent bits; one particlarly funny bit & the alien looked pretty scary, but the characters were too superficial & just didn't really care about them.

I know what Noel Clarke was trying to do, but I don't think he quite pulled it off.
