I dont know why people are ignoring the 'real' bully in this house...
And that is Shievonne.
I noticed this weeks ago but didn't think this side of her will be totally revealed. It's obvious the house if full of bullies this year, Arron, Conor, Caroline, Ashleigh for obvious reasons however they are more in your face and direct. Also they can be argued against and challenged. The difference with shievonne is she is very intimidating, she will continue going on and on thinking she is right when in fact she is talking 'crap'. Her hand movements and gestures make it worse and she belittles people in this manner. I feel there is only one housemate in the house that has security when it comes to any confrontation and that is her, I dont see anyone stepping up to her because of the way she is and the way she is portraying herself to be. The worst type of bullying is the one where they get into your head and I feel Shievonne is more likely to do that rather than Conor, Caroline etc. What are your thoughts? |

Shievonne just strikes me as one of those people who massively overreact to very minor things- I don't think she is malicious as such.

The housemates certainly noticed it last night, they were saying as much at the end of the highlights.

If you were in the house, you would be much more intimidated and lost for words in an argument with Shev rather than Caroline.

I wish she would relax more, it's like's she constantly having to prove something. Criticising Lydia for "her tone of voice" is almost humourous.

If that's not bullying, then neither is half the other stuff that's happened this year.

She is very intimidating and she knows it. It's unpleasant to watch and I'm surprised that she's unleashing this behaviour TBH. She must know it's not gonna win her votes.
Very unpleasant girl IMO. |

I think she has anger management issues. Both Adam and Lydia were trying to be reasonable with her - but she just kept spitting venom.

I think you may have a right to make the point that Shievonne's behaviour could be described as bullying in certain aspects. I think you are seeking a reaction (avoiding the 't' word) in expressing the view that she is the 'real' bully (in the sense that she is the only person demonstrating bullying behaviour) in the light of the serious and graphic threats of sexual violence and intimidation shown by a certain other McIntyre... sorry certain other HM.

On the whole, I think most people go on there these days to make a name for themselves as a controversial character for the financial opportunities that it provides later rather than going all out to win. The trouble is that it works because this society loves to reward people with flaws in their character. Neil (and therefore Caroline) Hamilton and Jeffrey Archer are a couple of examples of notoriety making money. True, the HM's aren't breaking the law but bullying, sexism and aggression are not traits that I want to see rewarded.

I'm not a fan of Becky by any stretch of the imagination but Shievonne's "actress" speech in last night's programme was decidedly stupid.
Especially as she was reacting to a comment Becky supposedly made about her, which she had no way of knowing was true or not. It was reported back to her by Sara during the bitching session about Becky in the garden. Shievonne credits herself with far more intelligence than I think she actually has. I wouldn't call her a bully but she is quite condescending. |

A passive-aggressive masterclass from divvy shivvy. She is not smart at all, nearly everything that comes out of her monotone mouth is pure nonsense. Just because other thick people can't be bothered to argue back with the relentless gibberish she spouts doesn't mean she is smart at all. When she starts something, like the one-sided argument with the equally vile Becky, she always ends up backing down in that passive-aggressive way she has of disguising insults as very vague platitudes or by reciting tired old cliches which she thinks make her sound wise, but instead just make her look like a very dull audience member offering advice to a fellow loser on the Jeremy Kyle show.

I don't know why people use quotation marks for emphasis.

For once my first impression of a HM was right.
I've never liked her .... she's such a "know it all" type. I couldn't understand what all the fuss was about back in week 1 when she seemed to be everyones fave HM she's horrible ...... #motormouth |
