Madonna NIA Birmingham 19th July

Thought i'd start a thread to discuss Madonna performing at the NIA in Birmingham on 19th July.

I've got a hot ticket for Block 2 Lower row J Seat 71
I'm going on my own though lol

What is included with the hot ticket, and when do you think they will send the ticket?

I can't wait to see her! Who else is going?

• Top price seated ticket to see Madonna live in concert
• Exclusive gift
• Official tour programme
• Commemorative tour laminate

That is what included

Ah cool! Hopfully it's a good seat! When I went to see her for the Sticky & Sweet tour at Wembley in 2008 I had a hot ticket for the gold circle and it wasn't too good really, cramped and standing for over 3 hours.

I heard the NIA isn't too big so I'm hoping I won't be too far away from the stage

Cool! Yeah I'm glad it's not a massive venue too. Can't wait to see her! Nobody puts a show on like Madonna does

I'm going. (: Got the cheapo tickets though because I'm going to Hyde Park and London for a few days. NIA is quite small apparently with a good view all around. (: Excited.

I still can't believe she is coming to Birmingham!! I wonder if she will do some chilling at Brindley Place - maybe go to Cadbury World from Brummie chocolate. She should come down my end in Hall Green and visit Sarehole Mill - I know a great chippie there!

Hyde Park will be EPIC too! The atmosphere with all those fans will be electric!

I can't wait either, even if I am second row from the back of block 5, I'm still going

Does anybody know if she has a support act because according to ticket factory the show begins at 7:30?

I'm going to the gig. I can't wait! I'm in Block D, 5th row. I know it's on the flat but I hope my view won't be blocked too much. When she's at the end of the catwalk she'll be pretty close up and hopefully high up. I've seen Madonna live only once (Girlie Show tour, Wembley, 1993) so really looking forward to seeing her again and closer this time! :-)

lol Madonna on twitter said she loves Cadbury's cream eggs (I think it was) so I suggested Cadbury world..biatch never replied though

And nope to the person that asked, my tickets haven't come. They are being processed though which means they should be dispatched next week.

I hope she doesn't come on at ten or else loads of people will miss trains.

There's no way she'll come on earlier. It's the official start time apparently. Hopefully she'll come on early for Hyde Park because they pull the plug after 10:30 pm because of a curfew and if fans only get half an hour then her touring career over here is finished

Ten o clock is a bit annoying. Stepdads working away aswell so looks like it's a taxi home. God can you imagine the uproar. My Hyde Park ticket says gates at half four so they best get on at a reasonable time.

She's not done one show where she's come on before 10. She'll have to change for HP though or they'll cut her off and 50,000 will be in uproar

i think it will change for Hyde Park. They best be aware of the rules or like you said, there will be uproar and lot's of people demanding money back. I can deal with ten at Birmingham but Hyde Park I would be pissed off.

She doesn't appear onstage until 10pm yet the doors open at 6.30pm and show starts at 7.30pm? I don't get it. I mean there'll obviously be a support act on at 7.30 but support acts are usually only on for about half an hour. So if they finish at 8pm what's going to happen for the following 2 hours?! Even if the support act is on for a whole hour, that's still 90 mins of nothing until Madonna appears! Very weird. Maybe there's several support acts performing.

i went to see her at the o2 in 2009 and the support act was paul oakenfold. he was on for about an hour and then there was quite a gap before she came on. it was at least an hour, maybe longer. i think it was about half nine before she started her show.

Martin Solveig has been coming on and doing 8-9. At HP there's 2 warm up acts but I pray she comes on on time there as they will pull the plug as they've done for Paul McMahon Bruce, Bon Jovi. If she comes on at 10 and they cut the show after half an hour can you even begin to imagine the headlines

I know people on the Madonnalicious forum have been upset they still don't have their tickets. They used Ticketmaster.

I'm going to this show, and I got my ticket (from Tickey Factory, via eBay). I'm in Block E, Row E. It will be my third time seeing Madonna live since 2006 and I'm very, very excited! I'm so glad she's playing even just the one arena in England or I would have missed out. I don't do stadiums/standing only/outdoor gigs.

I'm worried now, about the possibility of her starting so late we'd only get a half hour show. To travel all that way, stay over night, spend all that money...I would be absolutely gutted. I have to admit my excitement level has drastically decreased since reading those posts.
