Cardiff City v Crystal Palace - Roger Hughes
Hull City v Leicester City - John Temple
Wolverhampton Wanderers v Peterborough United - Dave Rowe

Horse Racing: King George VI Chase
Kempton Park - Rupert Bell

Lynsey Hooper is a new voice on the talkSPORT airwaves, I believe she usually reports on games for BBC TV's Final Score and Sky Sports News' Soccer Saturday. She's also the first female football reporter talkSPORT have called upon for many years, I think she might be the first woman to cover a football match for them since the days when Gigi Salmon and Clare Furlong were Football First regulars over a decade ago now. I'm not exactly sure what Kev Lawrence is doing at their commentary game (Adrian has tweeted that he is there) as he's not detailing the substitutions and other pitchside reporter-type things, so I'd guess he may be working as Sam and Alvin's producer at Carrow Road. No Michael Gray today as he's doing studio punditry on Final Score.

Boxing Day - BBC WM

WM carried commentary on the first 10/15 minutes of each half in the Barnsley v Birmingham City game on 95.6FM due to the delayed kick-off at Loftus Road. There was a return for Phil Cartwright, who usually covers matches for BBC Radio Manchester these days.

I've never heard Lynsey Hooper on Soccer Saturday, however she does the online SSN updates.

Also she does the Sunday sports round up in the studio on ITV Central's news bulletin.

for some reason, BBC Radio Berkshire caried Rob Phillips and Ian Walsh's commentary of Reading v Swansea. they had a presenter and pundit at the ground and were regularly cutting away from radio wales commentary to provide analysis. I'm guessing that for some reason their regular Royals commentator was unavailable and they didn't have time to arrange/don't have on their books another commentator who could have covered the game.

Boxing Day - talkSPORT Live

Premier League
Everton v Wigan Athletic - Mark Tompkins
Fulham v Southampton - Tim Long
Manchester United v Newcastle United - David Oates and Paul Mortimer (featured 3pm commentary on international radio stations)
Norwich City v Chelsea - Toby Gilles
Queens Park Rangers v West Bromwich Albion - Kevin Hatchard
Reading v Swansea City - Phil Barker
Sunderland v Manchester City - Adam Bridge
Aston Villa v Tottenham Hotspur - John Anderson and Paul Mortimer
Stoke City v Liverpool - Alex Crook and Alan McLoughlin

There was another talkSPORT Live debut yesterday, this time for former Republic of Ireland international and Newstalk regular Alan McLoughlin who teamed up with Alex Crook on the late game, thus renewing their once regular commentary tandem for Portsmouth games on Quay FM.

Signal 1 (Stoke-on-Trent)

? presented Signal Sport from the studios

Premier League
Stoke City v Liverpool - George Andrews and Mike Pejic (7.45pm commentary)

I didn't catch the name of Signal's presenter. talkSPORT's reporter at the game Simon Humphreys joined the Signal Sport commentary team for an extended period ahead of the game, where he was referred to both as Signal's news and sports editor and talkSPORT's reporter at the match. The last time I listened to Signal Sport, Ian Abrahams was called upon in the same fashion, so is it a regular thing for Signal/other UTV Local Radio stations that do football commentaries to speak to talkSPORT's reporters at their live matches ahead of kick-off?

I'm afraid I can't help with any of the information Ian requested, although I can tell you that Pete Donaldson presented Rock 'N' Roll Football yesterday in the absence of Russ Williams and a live commentary on Absolute Radio, while in Ireland neither Today FM or Newstalk had any commentary matches and were doing non-sports programmes as far as I know. Thanks for the information about Lynsey Hooper Callum, I guess I must have confused her online work for Sky Sports with Soccer Saturday (it's a show I haven't watched for years). Now you mention it I have seen her on Central News as well.
