Can't speak for ftsemonks but I'm always missing good TV programmes that I read about on the News, forums or somewhere, mainly because I rarely check the schedules so by the time I hear about them, it's often too late. Not much of what I watch is via series record.
I will be great to scroll through the EPG catch up schedules on my TV, all 'free' catch up channels together, and if unsure dip in to see if it looks good or not. And if it looks good, to record it (assuming that's going to be possible) or watch it then or later, and set series links etc. for future episodes as necessary.
If all that can be done, it will be perfect, just what I've been waiting for. I find browsing through a myriad of different catch-up websites and schedules to be too much trouble, and even when I find a programme worth watching, I find watching it on a computer screen to be somewhat unsatisfying.
