I have known Tony for years, played football with him, he has done loads of shows, he is the first to admit he is no mastermind he just enjoys the crac, though he has had several successes on quiz shows up to now, he is also a tv & film extra so he pops up on tv at regular intervals.

I’ve got the cardiac arrest team on standby, the tention is overwhelming! I don’t know if I can make it to tomorrow’s show.
I know it's not the hardest game show to fathom out, but i must have missed the bit where they explained the reason for choosing how many counters to gamble when they pick a category?
I realise that going for 3 counters gives him 3 to play with if he gets the question right, but why not just go for 3 each time, I'm missing something
