You're right. He does. That haircut desn't do him any favours.
They don't give the ages here as they do on The Chase but apparently he has left school and works in a warehouse.

Funny how game show cliches are being exposed in this show rather than anything else.

That's a very indistinct photo, Hassaan.
Not clear enough to determine your level of scruffiness.
...

Yeah, I don't look like someone who would like this kind of show.

People with great big fat heads should not have the kind of haircut that he had today.

Couldn't believe that the final two contestants were unable to name which continent the Andes were on. Take the options away and most of them are clueless, relying on lucky guesses.
I got a D for GCSE Geography. I need a satnav to find the corner shop. I haven't got a clue where anywhere is. Not everyone is into that sort of thing.

Yep and also .. "I'll take that"
They're just being proud of the fact they got it right.

I thought he was good that he was upbeat, rather than be a contestant with zero personality.

I think it was 23.
Record is up to 25 now.

Celeb and main shows are recorded at Wimbledon studios. You go in through Sun Hill police station.

Why do the contestants insist on adding "Ben" to the end of every sentence? Who else could they be talking to?

I think Ben Shepherd deserves some kind of award for his valiant dead-horse flogging and his equally admriable restraint in not decking some of the dimmer contestants.

It's a bit of fun. It's not meant to be Wittgenstein. It'll come and go like every other show. Deal is on its last legs, so that'll be cancelled before long.

What annoys me about this show is the final round.

*Contestant drops jackpot counter into dropzone 2*

*Contestant answers first question correctly and receives 3 counters*

Ben: "Ok, so where would you like to drop your first counter"

Where do you think Ben? Maybe they're gonna go for Dropzone 4 and hope a gust of wind blows it behind the dropzone counter?

I also hate that the little box that shows the contestants reaction shots as the counter goes down, it's always mirrored compared to the direction the contestants are looking when they're full screen.
A little thing, really but always irks me.

Otherwise, this show is in the "so bad, it's good" category.
It's cheesy as hell, it's downright cringeworthy sometimes...hell, it's a giant 2p machine you get at a fairground. And they put it on TV!
All the catchphrases are hilarious.
"Oh dear, a Ghost Drop!"
"Oh, she doesn't like you today!"
"NOOO! A RIDER!!!" etc

Typing this out I've realised that I like watching it because of how bad it is.

Basically, Tipping Point is the 21st Century Bullseye!

I agree about the reaction shots. The editors either don't know or don't care how odd it looks.
The game itself is what makes it addictive, just like the actual arcade game, into which I shovelled a lot of cash as a child.

Yes, it is a daft question. I guess he has to ask legally. However, I never understand why some don't go for dropzone 1 or 4 with the jackpot counter. Put it there and there's a chance you can guide it along the wall. In 2 or 3, it can go anywhere.

I also hate that the little box that shows the contestants reaction shots as the counter goes down, it's always mirrored compared to the direction the contestants are looking when they're full screen.

I spotted that, but you can see (literally) why they do it.

I don't think anyone is disputing the fact that he was better than average. It was suggested that he looked younger than his years...... and he did.

We don't know because they don't give their ages but he's working so, obviously, older than 9.

Unable to locate the continent of the longest mountain range on planet Earth? You don't need any qualifications to be able to do that, just a pair of ears and eyes.

How someone can go through everyday life and be ignorant of this is bewildering
