Can you resist watching the Jackpot token next?

More dramatic then a Dr Who Christmas special!

I bet you can't!

Haha, actually I’m watching a fairground game where you put pennies in a machine and the more pennies you put in the machine the higher the chances are that your pennies will push other pennies off a shelf and..........zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Oh dear! It's a bit in the middle and he will waste counters dividing between the two.

He's DEFINITELY going to need some lateral movement to get that prize token over the edge

They should now let him drop 3 counters to see if he was right or wrong.

What you have to understand is contestants are told to big it up in front of the cameras, to be " over the top " as they say.
The audition process is very cut-throat if you do not come over as over exuberant for a show such as this then your never going to get picked to go on in the first place.
.
You are correct. I auditioned for "In It To Win It" show last year along with about 30 or so others. There were a few of us who would have been worthy contestants - an elderly man who wanted some extra cash to do all the things he wasn't able to do during his life, and leave something for his grandkids; the man who had just recovered from cancer and would like to experience money; and myself (we have to live on hand-outs on family and friends after being denied benefits because I voluntarily left my job due to workplace bullying).

There there were those potential contestants who were a waste of space - the people who wanted to go scuba-diving, wine tasting etc....and in one jaw-dropping instance, a lazy student who admitted that she "slept all day and went clubbing all night."

Guess which people were selected to go forward for the show.

This show had gotten to me - I actually love Tipping Point! In fact I think in some ways it's better than The Chase as at least you have a good chance of walking away at the end with something on this, and if you don't its purely your choice for gambling it. Hope it gets another season.

Btw am I the only one who when it mentions some 'lateral movement is needed to get it shifted' sniggers and immediately thinks of someone who's constipated and stopped up like a manhole?!

God Ben Sheppard is just awful. And when he squints his eyes rinkle like he's 200 years old.

I do wish Carolyn would stop saying "Oh, No" when the other players do well.

This programme is bizarrely addictive.

Absolutely agree! Recorded it every single night, and enjoyed it every time!

I actually enjoy the "informality" of the contestants speaking and oohing and aahing when another is playing, and some of the questions as the game progresses aren't that easy. Throw in the elements of luck etc.. and it's a passable hour's tv.
