You are correct. I auditioned for "In It To Win It" show last year along with about 30 or so others. There were a few of us who would have been worthy contestants - an elderly man who wanted some extra cash to do all the things he wasn't able to do during his life, and leave something for his grandkids; the man who had just recovered from cancer and would like to experience money; and myself (we have to live on hand-outs on family and friends after being denied benefits because I voluntarily left my job due to workplace bullying).
There there were those potential contestants who were a waste of space - the people who wanted to go scuba-diving, wine tasting etc....and in one jaw-dropping instance, a lazy student who admitted that she "slept all day and went clubbing all night."
Guess which people were selected to go forward for the show.
