I always find it strange when ITV records a show at the BBC Television Centre..
Aren't they rivals?

TV Burp was recorded there aswell.

Turns out it's not as popular as some of us thought, only 1.19m (9.7%) tuned in yesterday which is 2m less than The Chase.
I'm watching it today. I tried Perfection on BBC One yesterday, and partly for today but it's as dull as dishwater. I never thought I'd be switching to Tipping Point!

You'd be doomed if the counter doesn't fall flat

While I was recording Tipping Point they were filming Pointless at the same time, walked past the green room that I was in last year when filming Pointless & contestants for that show were queuing up at a waiting point to go into the studio to record their show.

If he goes over and nudges the machine, does a little red light come on and a bell sounds, like in the arcade?

Yes he's done it! Didn't think he'd do it that quickly.

Darn it, I can't watch this due to the bad timing. DOND is at the same time and I can't watch on +1 either because of Pointless.

The star counter landed perfectly at the start.

He was talking about going travelling around the world straight-away. Well, if he was to work full-time for a year and then added the 10k to that then he would have plenty!

Why not record it? I did yesterday because I had to go out. Ryan was seriously lucky with that jackpot counter.

Shouldn't the contestant be allowed to answer any remaining questions after winning the jackpot and put all the additional counters won into the machine in the hope of winning an additional bonus prize (like that one in zone 4 almost ready to go over yesterday)? I know it wouldn't be as exciting but they could show highlights of the additional counters put in.

The fact that someone won 10k yesterday meant it was highly unlikely that they were going to show another 10k winner today

Do they not show them in the order of filming, then?

I know there are no date references in Tipping Point, and always a totally new set of contestants for each episode (unlike DonD), but I kinda assumed they would just show them in the sequence they were made.

He gambled and lost? That's what someone put into Wikipedia anyway (on a table for the results of the final round for series 2).

The guy on Wednesday could have gambled as we saw what would have happened, but oh well.

Looking at how the counters were positioned on the top shelf in that zone such that few would drop anytime soon, and the jackpot counter still needing two good full pushes on the bottom shelf for it to drop, there was next to no chance of it being won today.
