What also annoys me, is that when a contestant gives a [correct] answer before Ben's finished reading the question, he finishes the question first then tells them they are correct.

Hahaha .. I'd love it if someone did that

I think they like to show how clever they are answering those oh-so-difficult questions quickly

Not at all. They're trying to get in before the other contestatnts or, if it's the part when they need to answer as many questions as possible within a specified time, they NEED to get in as quickly as possible.

That's not what annoys me. What annoys me is, as I mentioned, that Ben decides to finish the question even though the answer's been given.

He didn't ask her if she wanted to trade her money for three counters!

They either cut it out because of time constraints or just didn't bother because they knew she wouldn't take it!

Yes, I assumed that but I don't remember it ever happening before.

Imagine someone completely emptying the top shelf of a certain dropzone, or even the entire top shelf. That'd be an interesting watch.

What annoys me is the continual asking for and confirmation of which dropzone that want to play when the star counter is clearly within one particular zone. I wish a contestant would say "Yes - dropzone 4!!! For this counter and all the others, unless I say otherwise "

I remember one contestant did say to Ben that she always wanted to use the same drop zone during the final but he still continued to ask her!

I can't understand why Ben feels it necessary to keep telling us how many times a particular dropzone has been selected. Does anybody care? It is surely of no interest to anyone!

That reminds me of the Lottery and how many times the balls have been pulled.

My toes curl when Ben says stuff like "ohh she's being a cruel temptress today". It's embarrasing Ben stop it.

Must have been quite a challenge for the cameraman to get Michaela and James in the same shot.

There's plenty of cringeworthy catchphrases in this show - "lateral movement" and "kamikaze drop" being fine examples.

James should have responded with "Mmmm....isn't she just" in his best Leslie Phillips voice.

This must be the most boring game show ever invented. I am amazed that it has survived so long!

May be boring but does it's business - 1-2 million viewers in the 4pm slot (better than whatever was in that slot before).

LOL! He’s trying hard to ’sell’ the game as a nail-biting, super-fast, intellectually stimulating experience.....but it’s just a gentle mid-afternoon parlour game. Another catchphrase is ‘ it’s a rider’.....hahahaha! I can’t help liking Ben. He’s as bland as vanilla ice cream, he’s innofensive and the contestants always thank him for lovely time, whether they win or lose.
