Is it just me, or is it for everyone? On both iPlayer and ITV Player, I get an error message when the actual video stream is about to start - on ITV Player I think the error code is 50094. On the other hand, BBC Comedy works fine. I have tried a hard reboot. It was working earlier today, when I watched Mad Mad World on ITV Player at 11:00.

Any idea?

Network connection error?
Can you transfer files to and from the HDR over the network ok?
Can you access the web interface on your computer or stream video?
All the above assumes you are running the modified firmware most of us seem to use.

If running the original firmware check that you have a network address on the diagnostics menu.

Yeah, using modified firmware. The connection is fine (else I wouldn't be able to access the iPlayer UI!). Tried downloading a video, running at a comfortable 2MB/s.

The programmes I've tried are:
Mock the Week
Would I Lie To You
Emmerdale
and some other thing on ITV Player that I can't remember.

Match Of The Day on iplayer worked on my box at 18:54.

Still nothing for me

I'll try a Freesat scan, then a factory reset, once these recordings finish.

Hi
I have exactly the same problem which started today as well.I can see all programmes, search etc. but none will play just get "This content doesn't seem to be working" and something similar on ITV player. Works ok on other devices (iPad, MAC, phone on same network . Obviously connecting ok as can see available programmes. Rebooted no difference.

itv player works fine on my hdr as well.

ITV2 Mark Wrights Hollywood playing now as a test.

Foxsat-hdr 4.0.7 Custom Firmware. Virgin broadband if that's relevant.

If its of interest to anyone the only way I got BBC iPlayer and ITV Player working again was to play a few seconds of a pre-recorded programme from the media menu option. Everything worked after that - baffling!
