Oddly enough, I was just talking about this with someone at work today. I was asking if he thought that the type of music we favoured is directly related to when we were born.

To some extent, it defiantly is. I would say it’s the music that was around when we were in our teens that stays with us.

For me then, it’s the seventies although I never liked Gary Glitter, I want to make that quite clear.

Not for me, born in 83 and prefer music from the late 60s/early 70s

It wasn't actually as it was Irish traditional music they listened to. I have no idea where my music taste came from.

I don't really have a favourite era. There's bands and artists I love from every decade from about the 60's to present.
