Seeing how her mum behaves around her is very sad. Her mum is clearly a few sandwiches short of a picnic.

I don't have any sympathy at all.. She had a chance to change her life and make a fantastic life for her kids yet chose to do drugs and ruin her life . No one else is to blame but her.

I did, but she never seems to learn from her mistakes so it has run out now.

I want to, as she is obviously very troubled, but she really is her own worst enemy and I can't see her ever changing for the better at this point in her life.

She's had more opportunities and second chances than she deserves, she's deluded in thinking she has a talent and is well-liked, she'd be better off living an ordinary existence, getting a job away from the limelight and bringing up her children in a secure loving environment.

Sympathy? What has she done to deserve it? She's just a waste of space who somehow manages to keep appearing on TV and in the press - just who is she sha**ing to achieve this? She has absolutely no talent whatsoever.

After the 5th "recovery for the sake of my kids" failed to take with her Life Stories/Take Me Out/Kerry: The Next Step push petering out into her getting fat and whining about the same self induced misery she got back in to doing, I think most have consigned her to the lost causes corner like Gazza.

No. No sympathy. She has had a heck of a lot of second chances, and more help than you or I would get, to clean her act up. She is selfish beyond belief.

I understand that she has had a lot of chances, but it does seem that she is a very bad judge of character. Nobody can disagree that she had a hard childhood, and even a difficult adulthood.

Everyone has sold her out; her mother, both husbands, friends family etc. Can you imagine the trusts issues that she must have as a result of this?

Further to this, she seems to suffer from bad luck, particularly with the people that she associates herself with.

Just because she is an adult does not mean that she has lost her insecurities from her childhood.

I'm not disagreeing that she had a difficult childhood, and to an extent, we are all products of our upbringing. Nonetheless, she is an adult, and while I am not disputing that her childhood may account for her insecurity, it cannot be used as an excuse for everything she does.

She screws up time and time and time again. She has had advisors and agents around her - she has had numerous chances. Despite having no talent whatsoever (she herself admitted that she can't sing), she has had the opportunity to make a name for herself. Yet, she continues to screw up her opportunities.

Also, she is often unnecessarily nasty about other people, including the fathers of her children. They may well deserve the animosity she feels towards them, but how are her children going to feel when they see how she publicly slags off their father?

Nobody deserves a bad childhood, but that doesn't automatically make them a decent person.

I did have sympathy for her at one time, but not now. She has been given so many chances and new starts and has messed them up. Think it's time for her to go and get a 'proper' job, like my kids have had to.

She has had every chance and each time blows it. She spends money like water,it was her choice to dabble in drugs, she is not a good mother, seems unable to understand she has no career left but continues to chase rainbows.
She had a really nice fella and he is too reliable. her kids have seen more men in her life than they have had cooked dinners from her.

She's a grown woman. Anyone with an ounce of nous could tell that Mark Croft is nothing but a freeloading numpty - Katona chose to marry him and allow him to squander some £5 million of her money because she was too busy with her head in a snout of gak or a vat of Lambrusco. And let's not forget her children who she only seems to care about when they're being used for photo opportunities.

I have no sympathy for this appalling woman. Yes, she had a rotten childhood - as did lots of other people. Despite the fact that she is talentless she had the opportunity to make something of herself and to make some money but she ballsed that up. She has had chance after chance and has constantly lied about her drug taking and constantly failed to overcome her 'issues'. Plenty of people with her background haven't got money to make something of themselves... If she didn't have kids then, whatever - but the fact is that she has 4 children, all of whom she has neglected in the pursuit of hedonism and that is indefensible IMHO. She freely admits she 'can't be arsed' to cook proper meals for them so she stuffs them with takeaways whilst filling her own gob with saturated fat and 200 Lambert & Butler. The woman is an appalling disgrace IMHO and no amount of hair dye, liposuction or contrived photo opportunities with her children can overlook the fact that she is a pathetic, desperate washed up car crash who will never learn and who has perpetuated the same miserable existence for her children that her own Mother inflicted on her. Shameful.
