FYD.
Hello! I thought this was so much better than the first time we met you guys in the competition, and in fact; I thought this was a fantastic performance! This is definitely one of my favourite Frankmusik songs, so it was a good pick from that angle, but it also suited you very well. The potential harmonies in the chorus means Seth knows what he's doing so I'm very excited to see how you progress through the competition!

Mary Byrne.
Looking at this song choice from memory, it scared the hell out of me the thought of you singing it, Mary! But then I listened to it and thought it was actually a really good song choice. I'm not quite sure you were able to pull off the subtlety in the vocals, which is what the song is all about, but it was still really nice to listen to! My favourite song choice from you last week was the second song choice in the list - the ballad I believe, I thought that was excellent and thought the direction was perfect. I would recommend sticking closely to that for the first few shows as I think that's the song that saved you last show! I did love this though, I must admit.

This was quite a good performance guys. Frankmusik is a really great song choice I think, for who you are as a group. I wasnt completely sold on the song itself. I think there were some maybe more suitable song choices. But it was a good performance though, and it showed me a lot of potential. Boy groups like you never really do that well in these shows, but I think with Seth as your mentor, you could do really well.

Mary
I will admit, I had a bit of trouble with you at first this week. I was struggling to pick someone, who suited you, but was well known on this forum, as I think well known artists shold be used for duets. But any ways, I remembered this Maria song, and how I thought it was suited to you. The vocals, are quite strong and a bit lower than your usual female singers. So I thought this was perfect for you, as that is you. Although I do understand, technically, you do have very different voices, but I think they complimented each other.

I didn't send in my staging, mortified! I wanted there to be 100 balloons on the stage (red, obviously) and then for one to pop and then the song to start!

Goldie.
Goldie doesn't NEED your love either, thank you very much! (). HEY GOLDIE! I would have loved to have used the German version for the song, but I'm not entirely sure you can speak German so I didn't feel like taking the risk. ANYWAY. This was vocally outstanding and anything you do is perfect because you're so perfect. Isn't Goldie just perfect? GOLDIE IS PERFECT!

Luke Bayer.
Oh Luke, I apologise for you having to follow such a fantastic, outstanding performer that is the perfection Goldie. I liked this song for you! I remember you having quite a high voice so I'm not quite sure this song was perfect for you in the way Gotye sings his songs, but it was very good! I think I would have liked to see you perform with a female artist though, rather than a male as I think the chemistry would have been more appropriate! I still really enjoyed it though as I do really like this song by Gotye - good performance!

Goldie
At first I read this was the german version. And I was seriously like Dafuq. Then I opened it, and realised it was the English version. So was very phew. But onto the performance. It was very you, and fun, and spunky. But in all serious, I wasnt that sure, the vocals, are similar at all. And because you arent the most serious of acts, you kinda fall down rankings anyways. But hopefully you can stay a bit to be funny more.

Luke
Luke, you were the only contestant that I actually completely forgot about after the last shows. Which isnt a good thing. You were good. But not that stand out. This, was alot more memorable. I really liked it. I think your voice, blends very well with Gotye. Overall, it was a really good performance, definatly enough done for safety. Really good Luke.

Gamu Nhengup. (tehehe.)
I thought this was a good song choice by your mentor, Gamu! I think there were better songs from Macy that could have been chosen for you but overall this was very good! The performances I liked from you the most were the ones where the emotional atmosphere aspect was involved. For example, your bootcamp performance, so I would definitely like to see more emotion in your performances but as this song digressed, I did start to love it, well done!

Dolly Rockers.
Excellent performance, girls! I wasn't too much of a fan of the songs from last week, but this is definitely the direction I wanted to see you girls go in. There were some good vocals in there due to the lack of instruments but at the same time, it also had a fun, positive vibe to the performance so yes, I really enjoyed it! Definitely a direction you should consider, very well done.

Gamu
I'm not completely convinced by this song choice Gamu. It was ok, but Macy Gray has such a unique vocal. So Im unsure as to wether they would blend to well together. I could see you doing this song yourself, and doing it brilliantly. But it didnt really blend that well with Macy's voice, therefore, the idea of the duet, just doesnt work for me here. But your performance itself was really good, and with the right songs, you could go far.

Dollies
I do love Rilo Kiley girls. And I do think your voices suit well with Jenny Lewis'. So I think the band was a brilliant choice. And this is one of my favourite of theirs, so I thought the song was similarly a brilliant choice. Best so far for me tonight. And you are a real competitior in this competition.

Alexandra Burke.
So, Justin's acts get "don't need your vote", but my acts get "not fussed"?! ALEX, I'm calling biased hosting. EXCELLENT performance Alexandra, I thought the 'rockish' vibe to the song suited you very well and Ivy is a brilliant person to duet with. So yes, excellency all round, very well done!

Joe Cox.
I really liked this Joe, I think it was a better choice than your original choice of duet by your mentor! I thought the vocals were very similar and I genuinely enjoyed this! I don't like the song though, and I think it would have been more beneficial had you sang a more well-known song for duets week! But other than that, I thought it was really fantastic Joe, well done!

The second Over is riding the wave off of last week's positive comments and she's hoping you'll love her tonight too!

Nicole Lawrence with Wynter Gordon - Stimela
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bgf5Rd95Czs

The second Girl would argue that this choice was actually pretty well considered...

Hannah Bradbeer with The Pretty Reckless - He Loves You
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SM9gvK8QWZ4
Hannah lead in verse 1 with Taylor backing vocals, reverse verse 2. Choruses sung together.

Re Gamu, I just want you to both know that I changed that song literally JUST NOW so the show could go ahead; Seth had chosen the same as my original song for one of his acts (after me) but Alex didn't notice and Seth is now offline. Alex saw me online and asked would I mind changing quickly as a favour to him. Obviously, you will all now wet your collective pants over the song Seth now has.

Kinda didnt realise Alex and Joe had been posted, so bit of catch up, done a tad quickly

Alexandra Burke
At first I was very confused by this song choice. I didnt think it suited your voice that much. But it did definatly start growing me, and gave me a very clear idea, as to who you want to be as an artist in this competition. And I thought it was really great. I think if you continue down this road, with songs a little stronger, you could do really well.

Joe Cox
Love Love love this. This is exactly who you are, through and through. This was just an incredible performance by you both. I think your voice maybe a bit to similar, so kinda blended too much. Maybe a bit of a different type of voice would've been better. But it was still one of the best performances today.

Nicole Lawrence
This might be a bit of a risk, because it is Wynter Gordon, but once I heard this song, I had to pick it. It is easy to pick, the very big performancers and all. But I wanted a song, that didnt go too big or anything. But was still very suited to your vocie I think. I really loved this performance Nicole.

Hannah
This is literally flawless Hannah. This is like the perfect song choice for you. Literally nothing would be better. The genre is just you to a tee. I think you have a very similar tone, and voice to Taylor Momsen. So I loved this soo much. Keep it right up.

An exciting symphony of voices is about to occur with the third group performance:

Girl V Boy with Foster the People - Pumped Up Kicks

And now for a bit more girl v boy action but on a wildcard level:

Duane Lamonte with Lianne La Havas - No Room For Doubt

Boy V Girl
Im not totally sure about this guys. You two last week, were definatly stand out. Definatly thought you were gonna be the one to beat. But after this performance Im not that sure. It just wasnt you I thought. You are a very fun quirky duo. And this wasnt that for me. It just didnt work for me personally.

Duane
Lianne La Havas, my favourite artist atm completely. I LOVED this performance Duane. I loved the risk that your mentor took on, with the male and female vocals. And it really thought it worked out well. The Liannes vocals, were more suited to you I think. But overall a really really good performance

Nicole Lawrence.
I liked this Nicole, not sure if I loved it, but I really liked it! I've had the privilege of mentoring Nicole before, and almost every other over in the history of X Factor, and yes she's hard to please with. I like how your trying to modernise her a little, but I would say, similarly to Mary, stick where the vocals are because that's what she is! This was good though.

Hannah Bradbeer.
The Pretty Reckless are perfect for you, Hannah. You're probably my favourite in the competition at the minute and I hope this remains. I cannot help but wish I had seen you perform Miss Nothing though. I don't have much else to say, your vocals were excellent and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Very well done, Hannah.

Girl V Boy.
Aw, I'm a little disappointed tonight guys. I thought you were easily the best of the entire four days last week, but I'm not sure this song choice quite holds up the standard you left us with. I hope you can recover from this, though, as you were definitely one of my favourites last week and to be honest, the act I remember the most. It wasn't horrendous or anything, but I think it could have definitely been better unfortunately.

Duane Lamonte.
I thought it was very important you sang with a female tonight Duane, and I thought Lianne La Havas was perfect for this. I personally love this song and I can picture the potential chemistry between the two of you! I thought the vocals were excellent and I generally loved it, very well done.
