I adore that! But I use Tesco' own brand of cheese as it's lower fat. Sometimes I just spread mustard or horseradish on the rice cakes/Melba toasts - not for everyone but I love it.

Very calorific though.

I quite often munch on baby sweetcorn, radishes, carrot.

Fruit is high sugar, but who ever got fat or unhealthy snacking on an apple?

They said snack, so you only need a small handful. Not that many calories really and also a lot healthier than a lot of other snacks. They said non sugar snacks and carrot and sugar do contain quite a bit of sugar, albeit natural.

Indeed, I'm tucking into a small bagful of almonds even as I type this .

All that lovely vitamin E... can't be bad!

Not many people, but they still have calories in them and if you consume more calories than you use up you will put weight on.

Innocent Smoothies for example have huge amounts of calories in them.

Of course, but in the case of this thread, of a mid afternoon snack, an apple will never do harm
