Anyone else struggle to feel sympathy for S Osbourne?

Having recently read and subsequently watched the vile Sharon Osbourne on 'The Talk' TV show in the USA and seeing her upset at her son's MS diagnosis, I have to admit I struggle to find any sympathy for her.

After her bullying antics (along with the equally vile Louis Walsh - who can only seem to take on unassertive women) and the way she treated Dannii Minogue, for no other reason that 'she just didn't like her'.

Well I 'just don't like the Osbournes' and feel absolutely no sorrow whatsoever, at best all I can offer is 'what goes around comes around, Shazza'.

MS is a terrible condition at its worst and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. I think Jack Osbourne intends to handle it tenaciously, while taking on board its seriousness and I admire his approach so far, as well as the fact that he seems to have turned his life around before all this. As for his mother, yep, she has been pretty vile on too many occasions and I fear she will end up making it all about her, rather than her son. Lots of parents witness their young adult children- who are just embarking on their most productive years- get stricken with MS and they don't have access to all the resources that the Osbournes have. I wish Jack well.

Jack and Ozzy seem decent people, but Sharon and Kelly are horrible. That said, I wouldn't wish MS on any person, or any family.

Agree with all of the above. Thankfully, it looks like JO & partner will get good support [including with finances] from his parents.

It's separate issues really, I don't like Sharon as a person for many of the things you mentioned she has done but MS is horrible and I wouldn't wish it on anybody so I can empathize with her current situation.

I could criticise the Osbornes for other things, but not for being upset about a family member having MS.

No. Because I never try and have sympathy for the old trout. She is the very essence of that horrible C word.

When a legendary scumbag like Vince Neil complains that mean Sharon Osborne intimidated him you have to take it seriously

But she seems to be fiercely loyal and protective of her family, and as a mother I can empathise, finding out your child has an illness or a disease is devastating.

I really like Jack Osbourne, he seems a thoroughly decent chap despite Ma Osbourne, not because of.

She's just a bitter old witch I'm afraid, I couldn't feel sympathy for her if my life depended on it.
I despise the woman.

Exactly. There but for the grace of God etc. It doesn't matter what kind of fame or money you have or haven't. It's devastating for a mother to find out her child has a life threatening/life shortening illness.

Oh I am sick and tired of hearing about how Sharon treated poor old Dannii - she was right about her screwing Simon though eh?

If you really think that her son getting MS at such a young age is karma, I feel sorry for you.

I always wonder if these Karma believers live in a constant state of panic because by being smugly happy for Sharon Osbourne's son's misfortunes they're risking all sorts of karmic shit back on themselves. As a non believer in karma, I hope they truly get what they deserve for thinking such rotten things about people.

No matter what one thinks about Sharon Osbourne, a rational and compassionate human would feel sympathy with the fact her son is suffering from a health issue.

No, I don't struggle at all to feel sympathy for her. The son that she gave birth to, and has nourished, protected and loved for 26 years, has been diagnosed with this terrible illness.
No matter what she's done, she comes across as a loving mother, and it must be destroying her.

I have an illness that has totally distroyed my life , my families life and my friends too.. Do you think I deserved it cos someone somewhere was upset by my mother??
I hope no one in your family ever gets something they know will destroy their future.. Or will that be KARMA

As for Dannii she is no shrinking violet and Sharon was right about her n Simon.so maybe just maybe she was right to feel the way she did. Simon admits he likes to cause friction with his judging panel to add drama

Oooh and by the way I have a small child who's life is affected due to my illness... Is she getting my Karma

Of course that's all bollocks! I have an aunt who is wheelchair bound and there was some useless tit in the news a while back who explained that disabled people are being punished for their crimes in a previous life - wonderful ammunition for the horrors out there who are just looking to be given an excuse to attack the vulnerable. Some people just don't think, until something bad directly affects them.

Despite having Sharon and Ozzy for parents, Jack is a remarkably decent young man.

I'm not a great fan of Sharon, neither love nor hate her, but I do have sympathy for her - her only son has a potentially horrible illness.

I agree.I don't like the woman but I think you'd have to be a very strange person not to have some sympathy for a woman who, while in remission from cancer, has just discovered her son has an incurable medical condition.

I wouldn't say Sharon was 'vile', but she has been unnecessarily nasty to others in the celebrity world. I think Jack's okay and feel sympathy for him having multiple sclerosis. I don't dislike Sharon enough to be as coldhearted as the way your post comes across.

Edit: I wonder if the first poster makes another post? I have my doubts.
