Someone's saying on twitter again that both Emmett & Bronagh are leaving Oaks' after Later or something. We know it's not happening but it does my head in people spreading stuff like that.

Morning all
Didn't get to watch last night's till really late. Never thought I would squeal so much at an ep when there was no BB/Ste involved, but seeing/hearing Silas was amazing. He was so good. Shame about Texas being the one he wanted to see though, there's nothing there regardless of the emotion supposed to be shown. Actually I thought the reporter Patrick showed more emotion in his face when Brendan threw his little tape recorder away than Texas did all last night. Here's to more Silas hopefully tonight. Anyhoo am off to enjoy what looks like the second semi nice day in a row (well second day of no rain so this is prob the Scottish Summer) with the kids. Enjoy your day all, speak later

Scotland is not allowed to have nice weather when we are suffering from really, really horrible stuff.
I was going to go out today but the sheer grimness of the day has made me put my pjs back on and decide to have a sofa day. It's so grey out there and rainy but boiling hot, it's just wrong. ![]() Sorry for the OTness but it's depressing the life out of me. |

Jeez I wouldn't reread Catcher in the Rye for anything, not even my Silas love could make me do it.

It's so frustrating. Why are the show trying to promote this stuff when they should be throwing everything they've got behind Silas and the Lynsey murder? |

Yeah they keep pushing this intern thing and I've read both the Jazz Franks interview and now this one and I feel like it's already happened, like I know exactly what is going to happen from minute to minute.
Oh and it sounds dull, dull, predictable and cliched. Drama by the numbers. ![]() Shame because I do like Esther and I don't hate George but I'm not looking forward to this at all. And honestly can they f*ck off with the virginity thing, yeah it's a big deal for the individuals involved but god it makes tedious viewing for anyone over the age of about 16. Once was fine, twice was pushing it and now you are taking the piss. Yeah I remember reading Catcher in the Rye when I was a teen, just the right age for it apparently and it was possibly the most boring, pretentious load of old pony I've ever been subjected to. Just because murderers apparently enjoy it don't be fooled into thinking it's good. Murderers make lousy literature critics, who would have thunk. ![]() Don't bother with the other serial killer book of choice either, The Collector by John Fowles, also rubbish.

![]() They should, if they've any sense, be sending Bianca/James/Potential new victim/Jeff out for interviews. |

I've just got this sinking feeling that the show are making the same mistake as last time, using Silas as a hook to pull in the viewers, and spending the rest of the show still trying to flog the teens, and it just doesn't work. But YES to an interview with Jeff. And more Silassy trailers. His return last night was massive - they need to make a massive deal of it. |

To be honest they probably can't do many Silasy interviews because they don't want to give much away about victims etc.

Why can't they understand that the only way people want to see Silas and the teens in the same episode is if he goes on some kind of stabbing frenzy and takes the lot of them out.
Making people have to sit through the teens to watch the exciting murder plot will not make people like them any more, it will make them resent them more. Jesus people are still going on about them hijacking the memorial for Heidi. It made people hate them, learn your bloody lesson HOs. |
