Been away for a week and just caught up today. Why on earth would Walker need Ally to cosy up to Brendan to be a confidante. Surely Walker knows that if Brendan's likely to confide in anyone, it's him right now. Made absolutely no sense to me. Nor did the collecting the package - what was the point. Nor did Ally greeting him in a friendly manner and calling him Nick the first time they met, if he was avoiding the police due to the arrest warrant.Nor did Ally sticking around after seeing Walker if he thought there might be a chance he would be arrested.
So what is the point of the Ally/Walker connection? Is something significant going to happen in the next two weeks? All just seems a bit random to me....

I'm confused too.
I think they had a different story planned for Ally and Walker and have since changed it.
It makes no sense if Ally is wanted by the police (and been arrested by Walker) he would talk to him as if they were friends.. when he called him Nick in Price Slice

Yeah, I'm with Ellie, they've clearly changed the Ally/Walker connection as they've gone along. No idea what it was meant to be originally, but you do not walk up to the guy who arrested you for fraud and say, hi, it's Nick isn't it?

The stuff last week made no sense either. There's no reason Walker would need Ally for anything. No one needs Ally, he's rubbish. He adds nothing to the plot. The only thing I'm considering is if Walker might end up killing him just before Later so his cover doesn't get blown to Brendan. The only good Ally is a dead Ally as far as I'm concerned.

Yip, that made it even more confusing for Walker to want Ally to befriend Brendan when he's doing fine himself on that score.
Brendan doesn't trust many people but he's trusting Walker more and more.

Walker can kill him if he wants as long as he doesn't frame Brendan for it somehow.
We had enough of that last year with Silas framing him for Rae and the other girls murders.

Your level of loathing for Ally does make me smile C&S. He's a bit of a meh character for me. Can take him or leave him. I can't see what Ally will bring to the mix either. Don't think Walker's in the cast list for this week, and isn't in the spoilers for next week (though that doesn't necessarily mean anything) but if that's the case, it only leaves a weeks worth of episodes for the connection to lead to something that leads into later. If he's setting up Brendan to take the fall for Ally's murder then it's going to be mighty rushed as there's nothing to link them at all. However, it is possible that Ally may be the one to let on that Walker is police, to Brendan...

I wish someone would tell Brendan that Walker is a cop. I'd prefer Ally to tell Ste and Ste tell Brendan though.

He's a plank. Nuff said, really. Now we know what the link with Walker is, it doesn't interest me at all. We didn't need Ally to find out Walker's undercover - they already showed us that.

So he can go. He's surplus to requirements.

Hmm re Bronaghs tweet re funeral. Was she meaning aftermath of Later, in which case who dies? They wouldn't attend Walkers. So we know Brendan and Cheryl survive. Do we know if Joel and Teresa make it out alive? Unfortunately its unlikely to be Allys as I don't think he's ever met Cheryl so she wouldn't be going. Possibly Cheryls gran?
And I'm guessing by the spoilers that Cam dies the episode before Later starts which will be the catalyst for Walker to lose it... Although how that links into what looks like a holiday for Brendan, Cheryl, Joel and Teresa I have no idea. Maybe to do with Joels mum?
And lastly I still think that BB will have no idea about Walker at the start of Later as I still think we'll get Bralker sex.

Walker's back!! Yippee, yippee, yippee!!! I'm so happy! I had a feeling he would come back, my dreams have come true!! Back to watching Hollyoaks PLUS the repeat every day just to see his gorgeous face and floppy hair
